"My family traveled to France for the first time in late July 2013 and stayed at La Forestiere while competing in a surfing competition. It was a wonderfully quiet place. Our children were probably the loudest of the visitors.The rooms were clean, but dated. The meals, coffee,fruit and pastries in the morning were fresh and staff accomodating and friendly. The evening meals at the restaurant included with the board were fantastic! English was spoke by most of the staff and they helped me with my French. I would love to visit again!"

"Location was good. Swimming pool nice. Otherwise it was a terrible visit. We were booked in for two nights in a garden room but only stayed for one because the room was awful. It was so basic and uncomfortable. The room was in a converted outhouse. It lacked any natural daylight and the shower had no light and was so small you could barely move in it. The bed was so close to the floor and there was one tiny window. It felt dreary and depressing. We asked for an upgrade but they didn’t have any rooms available and so we asked for a refund of the second nights stay as we had to book elsewhere but they refused. Way too expensive for the room provided. Was like a hostel room."
