"It is a 3-star hotel (maximum) in international standards. The wi-fi connection is very very very weak. The café/bar (Corisco Cafe) charges more than the prices listed on the menu. So, be careful. The service quality is an absolute joke. The food is extremely poor, and the prices are unreasonably high. Overall, there is a serious problem with both their integrity and work ethic. The gym is also very expensive, not clean and very hot like a sauna."

"Situated in the very center of Bissau, next to the main street and close to either Praca Imperio or harbour. The rooms are spacious and clean, a huge roof garden allows hanging around. But unfortunately there is no restaurant or bar that would make the stay on that terrace even more pleasant. But no worries: Just on the opposite of the road is a very good restaurant...or even two (I just tried one ot them)! I think that Coimbra is really an affordable hotel in the center of the capital; it might not compare to high standard hotels around the world, but you even do not pay for a high standard hotel. The staff is polite and helpful."
