"Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your points clear and balanced: Location was good and there was plenty of parking, which was a positive. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt very tired. The outside decking was made from old pallets, with old equipment left sitting in the corner, giving a neglected first impression. There was no air conditioning and, despite asking, we were told there were no fans available. The room was unbearably hot throughout our stay. There was also a strange smell in the corridor that persisted the entire time. We booked a room for three adults, but it was extremely cramped. The shower room and toilet were both very small, and the balcony was tiny and in need of some maintenance. The food was mediocre and the service was quite slow. Although the price was reasonable, the overall experience didn’t offer good value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"The room size was perfect. However, the kettle wasn't working, so the receptionist replaced it. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, which I didn't use because the drain plug wouldn't close properly. Not very practical for taking a shower in a bathtub. The restaurant was quite cool. Despite these minor issues, we were delighted."

"We loved our two night but 'far-too-short' stay at Hotel Kloster Hornbach. We were on our way between France and heading to Frankfurt for our flight so Hornbach is ideally situated. What a beautiful area around Hornbach to explore, located on the footsteps of the Rhein wine region and local golf courses. The hotel is a wonderfully restored Kloster which opens up into a very stylish and comfortable design hotel with extraordinary attention to design detail. We liked the spacious meticulously clean rooms which were a nice change after travelling in Europe where the rooms are usually small. But what capped it off for us was the very friendly and welcoming staff and hosts at the hotel as well as the excellent cuisine, from breakfast through to dinner. We enjoyed chatting to the knowledgeable sommelier who helped us with our local wine choices and knowledge. We had a 5-star experience."
