"Firstly, don’t bother with online check in! I did it only to be told on arrival they still had to do a manual check in, which took approximately 15 minutes of tapping on a keyboard. To be followed by , so you need to pay? My response, “No! It’s already paid for!”. Not the most auspicious start, however, the room, albeit a little small was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was probably the best I’ve experienced in any hotel. One quirk was that all soap/shower gel/shampoo containers provided stated they were hair conditioner. On testing this proved not to be the case. A decent stay overall, however I feel £133 for a night was not justified."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the welcoming message to the warmest of goodbyes… What a beautiful place this is! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, and sadly, the goodbye came far too quickly. Jane and Jed are an absolute asset to this wonderful place. Their warmth, friendliness and wealth of knowledge really made our stay special. The stories and history of the place are fascinating, and you can really feel the love and character that has gone into making it what it is. Our room was beautiful and completely unique, with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail was fantastic. A kettle, hairdryer, a lovely cool room and all those little touches that make you feel comfortable and at home. And then there’s the breakfast! A cold buffet that just keeps giving — so much choice and everything beautifully presented. You certainly won’t leave hungry! Every room has its own WOW factor, and the whole place has such a wonderful character and charm. Jane and Jed’s knowledge of the local area was also invaluable, with plenty of recommendations and information to help us make the most of our stay. From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a more lovely experience. Thank you, Jane and Jed, for making us feel so welcome and for sharing your beautiful place with us.
