"The hotel is reasonable. It can’t be anything more than this. Rooms (309/311) are on the 3rd floor with a river view. They are both sold as superior river view rooms. They do have river views but are not superior in any way if you’ve stayed in other hotels. There is no air conditioning ( the hotel is old and built from stone and wood - and heats up to the point where you cannot sleep) but a noisy electric fan is provided. There are no USB charging sockets in the room and the shower is basic with distinctly average shower gel / shampoo bottle attached to the wall. The floor is wooden and squeaks a lot and the decor is bland (although this is, of course, subjective). In our view it needs a desperate refurbishment of the bedrooms and bathrooms….some of the rooms have a refurbished bathroom if you’ve stayed ask. The hotel has an underground secure (ish) garage for cars and motorbikes accessed via a room key from outside and inside. There are additional charges for parking - approx €18-20 euros for a car and half that for motorbikes per night. Location wise it is good as it is in the centre of town right by the bridge and the food is good with friendly service staff. Nice bar and restaurant area for views and evening meals / breakfast. Breakfast is basic continental affair and they offer a half board with 3 course meal options…which we took and had carrot soup as an amuse bouche for the first 3 days! You can ask to go a la carte which offers a few other dishes. The middle aged lady on reception was reasonably unhelpful and couldn’t really be bothered to help - with any request greeted with a sigh like it was too much trouble - perhaps she should recognise she works in hospitality and perhaps try to help guests a bit harder? Apparently it’s a family run hotel and this is not my first time staying here. Overall it’s an ok place to stay if visiting Bouillon for a couple of days - but it also appears there is a new hotel being built almost next door due to open summer 2026 - I think we will look there in future! This is for the reasons outlined above - the rooms need an urgent upgrade to modern standards and the attitude of the front desk lady need to be more friendly and helpful. I’m paying a lot of money to stay here and felt like an unwanted guest."

"Very nice break in perfect disconnection mode. Even the little one enjoyed spending the evening playing cards in the trailer. This great cocooning experience must be repeated. Welcome and breakfast with top local flavors!"

"There's no toilet in the room, but there is a shower. Toilets and an additional shower are in the hallway. Everything is clean and tidy, but very basic. No luxury, just perfectly fine! The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent! It's also great that they've already prepared breakfast for the trail runners at night!"

"Never again these people are aggressive, arrived at 1600 and were already told that we had to be here at 1500? after 11 o'clock you are no longer allowed in and a very aggressive explanation from that woman - Sauna was in it, ah no do you suddenly have to pay extra? If you ask nicely? Did the man insult my wife that she is a pig? And also starts to insult me - They thought we didn't understand them, we speak 4 languages fluently - Just below average, Bed 1m40 bathroom dirty - window was not allowed to open, fireplaces were smoking everywhere, TV didn't work - just kindly left - Lost 110 euros. Still haven't got it back. We want to relax in a friendly and cozy way on a trip - not to be snubbed and offended - Have slept in thousands of hotels all over the world but this one - never again the worst experience ever 0 out of 10 Plus jamais ces gens sont agressifs, sont arrivés à 1600 et on nous a déjà dit qu'il fallait être ici à 1500 ? après 11 heures, vous n'êtes plus autorisé à entrer et une explication très agressive de cette femme - le sauna était dedans, ah non, vous devez soudainement payer un supplément? Je ne l'ai toujours pas récupéré. Nous voulons nous détendre de manière conviviale et confortable lors d'un voyage - pour ne pas être snobés et offensés - J'ai dormi dans des milliers d'hôtels partout dans le monde mais celui-ci - plus jamais la pire expérience de tous les temps 0 sur 10"
