"Overall, not happy! The hotel was not bad, but both my wife and I were not happy with the check in. As we specially booked the room with King bed and when we checked in, we were told that only 2 Queen Beds room was availiable and he staff Scott told us its upto the hotel's arrangment, where it did not say this 'option' in my booking at all. All Scott told us was unfortunatly and no othe suggestions or recommendation. I told him I will take the room, but I was not happy, he said, ok. So, unfortunately, I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends."

"Had such a nice evening at Canyonleigh retreat. From the moment we arrived Kush was a fantastic host. Very friendly and welcoming. We took some wine and cheese for the evening and bought some Jalapeño Jam sold at reception which was incredible. Room was really nice, comfortable bed, nice couch and building a fire was as fun as always. We sat at one of the communal areas to watch the sunset with a glass of wine then went back later to see the stars (which was incredible). Really relaxing by and fun evening, would go again and recommend anyone else after a short break from city life does the same."

"The room condition was very old and musty. The windows overlooked the putting green with a decent view of the golf course. Unfortuntely, the window frames and blinds were both broken and in need of replacement. The kind-sized bed comprised of 2 single beds put together with the carpet badly stained with a bad odour. The walls were old and needed a new coat of paint and the bathroom was damp with the toilet bowl, sink and shower area very badly maintained and in need of a renovation. The floor boards in both our room and in the room above us were creaking throughout the night when anyone was walking. Unfortunatley, this will be the last time we will stay here and opted to check out first thing in the morning."
