Discovery Parks - Bright ★★★
"Love the park! Will come back again. The cabin is clean and cosy."
Hara House ★★★★
"great location close to bright and very clean room. would stay again"
Discovery Parks - Mount Buffalo ★★
"Good stay, only negative was sink in bathroom was slow to drain."
Bright Velo ★★★
"This was our third stay at the Velo and just as exceptional as our previous stays. We had two rooms in the Mystic Wing which seemed to have had a recent update. The rooms were scrupulosly clean, with plenty of towels. Beds were super comforable and again super clean.Check in instructions were clear and sent well ahead of our arrival. You are but a short stroll from everything the town of Bright has to offer. Great parking. On the morning of check out we met the most delightful housekeeper who happily showed us around the newly refurbrished areas of the hotel. Attention to detail was very luxe but warm and inviting. Previously we had stayed upstairs in the main building which has been extensively renovated so we are aware as to how the Velo had previously looked. Have also stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Central to everything and pleasing to see the amazing upgrades and development of this quintessential Victoria hotel. Looking forward to our next stay!"
Bright on Track ★★★★
"It was very nice stay at Bright"
Tasman Holiday Parks - South Bright ★★★★
"Our cabin was next to the entrance, therefore you could hear vehicles passing by at night. You get what you paid for. Central heating in the living room."
High Country Motor Inn ★★★
"It’s a good place to stay and the service is excellent. Nice stay"
Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, Trademark Collection by Wyndham ★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located near the center of Dinner Plain Village. The hotel lobby is a restaurant, offering better value than the two nearby restaurants. The food is generally good, and Wyndham members receive a 15% discount on dining. Across from the hotel is a small supermarket with basic necessities, food, and drinks. It's recommended to stock up in the city before your trip. The room wasn't large, but it was adequate for two people. The hotel provided adequate sanitary napkins and was quite cozy. The room also had a kettle and a small refrigerator, which was a nice touch. The hotel is also close to the shuttle bus stop to the ski resort. The daily fare is about $21, about a seven or eight minute walk. There are two ski shops along the way. We compared the rental prices and found them to be about the same as at the base of the mountain. They also offer assistance with snow chains for $25 per trip."
Barrass's John Bright Motor Inn ★★★★
"Clean and tidy, the cleanest bathroom and bathtub in the motel I have ever stayed in, thumbs up. Those water cups need to be put in a dishwasher so that the overall grade is higher. If you go skiing, this hotel is very cost-effective before going up the mountain. It is very convenient to eat around. The western food in Alpine hotel tastes good. The store next to the ski equipment rental is also 1/3 of the price on the mountain. If the boss can post the Wifi password in each room, it will be a more value-added service. Overall, this stay ended perfectly"

Chestnut Tree Holiday Units
"We really enjoyed our stay at Chestnut Tree Holiday Apartments. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and really well appointed. The 2 km walk into the town of Bright was an easy walk and a good way to start and finish a night out. The grounds of the property were well looked after - the time of year we went, made it too cold to use the outside facilities. I will definitely try to stay there the next time we're in Bright"
Kiewa Country Cottages
"Wow, what a fabulous place to stay! Arrived to warm rooms and electric blankets on. This is the CLEANEST accommodation that I have ever stayed at. The rooms are SPOTLESS and have everything you need. Super comfortable beds. Lots of extras, even an umbrella you can borrow. Handy drying area for ski and bike gear if needed. Jenny the host is wonderful, nothing is a problem. You can even give her a call when leaving the ski fields and she will turn your apartment heating on, so nice and toasty when you get back. Hot tip - check out the beautiful prints in the rooms. Jenny doesn’t advertise this but she is actually an outstanding Australian artist and the artwork is hers… I purchased one of her prints which I fell in love with."
Bright Porepunkah Holiday Park
"Nice place"
Porepunkah Pines Holiday Park
"Arrived at the Park and was greeted by Narelle one of the Managers. Was very professional , helpful and had a great sense of humour. Felt very welcomed, Narelle would stop and say hello also made sure all was ok with accommodation etc. Gave us great info about the area to what we could go and do or eat. Loved the lawns that were kept nice down near the creek, camp kitchen was great too. Walking track into porepunkah to the eateries etc. Have booked again! Would definitely recommend this caravan park!!! Greg and Angelina Huddle Deniliquin NSW"
Riverbank Park Motel
"We stayed at the Riverbank Park Motel in May 2024. This stay was part of our Great Alpine Road trip. Despite being in a superb location on the river and close to town, it was the worst accommodation we have stayed in. I had tried to be selective in our choice and I found the website photos are misleading. Yes, there has been attempt to freshen the rooms up, but they are reminiscent of motel standards in the 1980s. The mini-kitchen was dirty, as was the windowsills and couch (as the cushions appeared unclean, I stupidly pulled them out to see how dirty they were underneath – big mistake) We didn’t sit on the couch. The carpet was stained, and the curtains had a dirty mark on them too. Needless to say, the fridge had what looked like mould growing in it. I’m not sure which is sadder, the fridge or the permanently-open 7cm gap in the bathroom which allowed a cold wind to endlessly blow the shower curtain against your body as you manoeuvre in the small shower. This was topped off by the hot water running out. This place is ok if you don’t have high standards or much money. But if you want to feel warm and clean, I suggest you go elsewhere. We didn’t bother complaining as the accommodating vibe just wasn’t there. Oh, and I need to mention the old wall rattler air-conditioner for a heater, that huffs and puffs its way through the night like a tired old dragon."
Hotel High Plains
"Excellent pub dinner - chicken salad so good we went back for lunch the next day"
Tawonga Tourist Park

Bright Riverside Holiday Park
"I took my three children and two of their friends to Bright so they could go mountain biking at Mystic Park. I randomly chose the Bright Riverside Holiday Park, booking a 6 berth Riverview cabin, and what a perfect choice. The cabin itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beds were clean and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure (something that can often be lacking). Location was fabulous. The bikers were able to easily ride to their destination and the rest of us strolled in and out of town with ease, even taking a dip in the river on the warmest day of our stay. We spent our evenings outside by the fire pit which just added to an already fantastic experience. Although we had our own amenities, I did venture into the communal toilet block on one occasion and it was spotless. Checking in and out was effortless and we’re already considering dates for a return."
Harrietville Hotel Motel
"Very satisfied! It's clean, well-organized, and has a great ambiance. The bedding is very comfortable."
Motel Sierra - Bright
"Spacious and clean room. Stayed 2 nights for the snow trip. Highly recommend."
The Odd Frog
"Such a delightful setting. Helpful and specific instructions and super helpful hosts James and Kylie. Always available for communication & to do the extra things we needed. The Odd Frog was a perfect place to explore the area. Our accommodation was great. Kitchen utensils all very good. The fire was so warm. And plenty of wood to keep us cosy. We are sure to recommend and visit again. Thanks"
Westwood Lodge
"We love the quiet tranquil location nestled next to the creek among beautiful flora & fauna. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The quietness all along but especially at night ensures relaxation & great sleep. Service is great, nothing seems to be a problem & the owner makes you feel very welcome. We can’t wait for our next visit."
Merrimeet Cottages
"Stayed in the upstairs Mews apartment. We loved sitting on the outside deck overlooking the beautiful gardens for breakfast and in the cool of the evening. Though warm in summer, the air conditioner kept the place cool. Spacious unit and comfortable."
Goldfield Holiday Units
"We are return visitors and could not be any happier. The renovated units are amazing- beautiful new bathrooms , floorboards in the living area , fresh carpet in the newly decorated bedrooms great kitchen and living space and their backyard backs onto the river. Such a beautiful spot You are walking distance to town The hosts Sam and Marco are the best Highly recommend"
