Arthotel Lasserhaus
"We love staying in the Dolomites and finding hotel treasures, and this is one of them! The hotel has character and charm—you not only have a fantastic experience but also get a daily dose of the historical feel. We had breakfast in a nearby cafe, which was also simply delicious—with many options. The room was spacious and had everything you need - huge bath and shower. The only thing is that during summer, it might get a little warm inside, as it is a historic building! But all worth it! And also, for interior and art lovers, this hotel tick it off! The city centre is just a tiny bridge away - good restaurants, ice cream, drinks, and so much more. Fun to mention: there is also a tiny sauna and wine cellar, and some of the rooms feature art installations."
Residence Hotel Gasser
"Great staff, and great location"
Hotel Grüner Baum
"I stayed here before starting my home and had an absolutely great time"
Krone Eat Drink Stay
"The facilities are similar to those of a large hotel built in the early 2000s, rather dated. There's a bathtub. The room size is decent. The lack of a kettle in the room is a problem. The hotel has comprehensive public facilities, and there's a lively restaurant on the first floor. There's a large supermarket right outside. It seems to be one of the largest hotels in the area. American tour groups stay here."
Adler Historic Guesthouse
"This hotel offers excellent service, breakfast, spa zones, wet and dry sauna (huge). It is worth every penny. There is a tiny but impeccable pool at the roof top from where u can see the duomo and clock tower, that is a delight, and all the people working there is so nice, warm and professional that it deserves and extra star just for this merit alone. A real pleasure. Choose the rooms facing the river with those angled windows from where you have almost the impression of being over the water. Love it."
Haller Suites & Restaurant
"The hotel is situated above Brixen in the vineyards, offering a beautiful view of the town. Unfortunately, a bus only runs once an hour to and from Brixen, and the last bus departs at 7:15 pm, which is quite early for summer. Walking back to the hotel can be quite strenuous as the path is very steep. Aside from a sauna on the rooftop terrace, there are no recreational activities available. The rooms lack air conditioning and are shaded from the sun by thick curtains. The food is very good, including the breakfast, which is served at a wide variety of options. A glass of Prosecco and some fish would be nice additions. If you can't eat everything, which is usually the case, the leftovers have to be thrown away. This is a shame, as it's no longer acceptable in this day and age, given the need to protect the environment and reduce food waste."
My Arbor
"I've been here 5-6 times already. This time, the front desk staff seemed noticeably undertrained. They were clearly new and seemed quite shy. Luckily, we've been here many times and are familiar with the place. The next morning, between 9 and 10, cleaning staff knocked on the door twice and came in to clean. They only apologized and left after finding us inside. It seems there's a communication problem with the front desk; they kept thinking we had checked out. The only pleasant thing was the two spa therapists, Kiki and a male. They've been there for many years. Their service is excellent, and the sauna afgus is a fantastic performance. You must try it!"
Hotel Elephant
"It is a very old hotel that was built in 1490, so expect some eccentricities. Door locks are not electronic, but use a key with a large heavy key fob attached and do not fit in your pocket easily. Room numbers are confusing and rooms are difficult to find. Single rooms are very small. Breakfast buffet is very good with many hot and cold choices. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shopping."

Hotel Fernblick
"A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. There are many scenic hiking trails around the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable with a verandah. There is also a spa at the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and were there to help me when I had to check out very early in the morning for my next destination. I booked including breakfast and dinner, advisable as there are no restaurants close by and the food, especially dinner, was excellent and very good value for money. It is not in the centre of Bressanone but there is a bus service that goes there and back a few times a day."
Modern Apartment, Bressanone
Hotel Traube
"Our stay at Hotel Traube was excellent. I have to praise the staff, who were always very helpful and kind. The information that we had 3 hours in the Aquapark included in the package was a great surprise, plus the afternoon coffee and cakes after skiing were a perfect touch. We will come again."
Alter Schlachthof
"Brilliant location, superbly designed rooms. Very friendly. Excellent breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Welcome drink. A delicious breakfast."
Hotel Jarolim
"We had a lovely two-night stay here. The hotel is just across from the train station, making it perfectly placed to explore Bressanone. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good selection of food at breakfast. The biggest plus though is a garden area at the back, where you can have a swim in the pool (beware: the water is very cold, even on a warm and sunny day!), or just relax on one of the sun loungers. You can do that while enjoying a drink from the hotel bar."
Tourist Hotel
"Nice little place where everyone was welcoming and friendly :) price was reasonable for what we get, room was clean and spacious. Nice view from our window too! Breakfast was decently nice."
Residence Isarcus
"It's 3 booking of our group. I already reviewed"
Castell Matscher
" The Castell Matscher is a self-catering annexe to the Krone Hotel in Brixen. The apartment is well appointed, but owing to the very poor location with motorway (A22 to Brenner pass) directly behind the building, it is not quiet or romantic, as advertised! There is constant noise. Good triple glazing does allow one some peace indoors, but using the balcony is impossible, owing to the traffic noise. The apartment is at the top of a steep incline, which is also problematic for those not coming by car as the road is narrow and vehicles travel fast. It is unlit, so walking in the dark is another hazard. Bedroom is spartan, but there is plenty of cupboard space. One hard chair to sit on. Bed has memory foam mattress which is comfortable. However, we paid 250 euros per night for staying here, so I think the standard of the bedroom was poor value for this price. The kitchen was very poorly provisioned, with a fridge and small freezer locker but no ice tray. The freezer compartment was also iced-up. Cutlery and crockery provision was inadequate. I had to wash up after every meal. Not enough of anything! At least supply a bread knife, knife sharpener, a pair of kitchen scissors and several tea-towels. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets! Dining/living area was again very spartan. Hard chairs and a giant bed affair, but no comfortable easy chairs. Bathroom was good - spacious with excellent shower, good lighting and plenty of towels. The only area that matched the price level... remember we paid 250 euros per night to stay here. There was an additional charge of 50 euros for cleaning and "sanitisation" - surely a rip-off from Covid times, and quite unjustifiable now. Finally, when we asked to see a member of management, the Receptionist told us no-one was available and had no idea when anybody would be available to address our issues. This reflects very poorly on a well-established 4* hotel in a very popular tourist destination. Walkability Big fat zero unless you are fit and strong. The apartments are not a stone's throw. You need to be able to walk uphill with luggage to get here. The road is narrow, relatively busy and unlit. Noteworthy details Brixen/Bressanone is lovely and we shall come here again. The Brixen card is a wonderful bonus and we used it every day, whether to visit the Acquarama, catch a local bus (No 123) to get to Plose mountain area, or indeed use the ski lifts there to climb higher. Local train journeys, as far as Trento are also possible with the card, saving you lots of money. We loved the town and will re-visit next autumn, but will definitely not be staying at Castell Matscher, nor will we recommend it to any of our friends."
