"I must say that it was a fairly good experience overall. There were aspects I appreciated, but there were also some notable drawbacks. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I found the rates to be quite fair considering the hotel's location and amenities. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, making check-in easy and smoothe. However, one aspect that left me quite disappointed was the pricing of the meals at the hotel's restaurant. While I expected some level of premium pricing due to the location, I found the cost of meals to be extremely high. I also dont know where there is a TV set in the room when it shows no channel On the whole, it is a decent choice for accommodation with fairly good rooms offered at fair rates. Though one might want to explore dining options outside the hotel which might be a more budget-friendly."

"Beautiful place, wonderful people, delicious food! The most eco-friendly place I have been in Uganda so far! The view by daylight is fascinating and becomes enchanting when night comes, with hundreds of little lights showing on the lake (fishermen fishing silver fish thanks to the light). It is surreal! A paradise for birders too!"

"The hotel environment is nice, but the facilities are a bit old. When you turn on the shower, there are three water jets. The room doesn't have slippers, internet, or even a toothbrush and toothpaste. Overall, the environment is worth the price."

"Dark, worn and very smelly rooms, bed linen and mosquito nets with holes and dirt, bathroom repulsive due to black mold and yellowed toilets/seats. Advertised pool and fitness center unusable - dirty, not maintained, outdated, a source of danger. Rude staff, especially in the restaurant. Food a disaster, drinks out of date. Only the gardens were well-kept and attractive."
