"On a recent motorcycle tour of Route 6, I found this quaint boutique hotel on Trip Advisor. I cannot say enough about the facility, the owner & the breakfasts. The hotel is a renovated house of a wealthy businessman. The restoration is meticulous. No detail was overlooked. The rooms are of period yet the bathrooms updated to include massive showers. Toured every room. Some were small but all beautiful. I recommend the “Shippen” room. It’s the largest & has the most sunlight. The breakfasts were all gourmet, the facility immaculate, the porch a great place to hang & the owner was a plethora of knowledge about the area. Helped make our trip even better!"

"This place is BEYOND beautiful. This was my first B &B experience, and I feel spoiled now, nothing else in the future will compare. A beautiful historic house, immaculately decorated, and high-end rooms furnished with the best amenities. Breakfast was fabulous—cooked to order for each individual visitor with gourmet quality. The Hygrade Inn may be a bit off the beaten path, but the detour is worth it! Can’t recommend highly enough. "
