The hotel grounds are expansive, and the accommodations are situated around a stunning large lake. The room's facilities and kitchenware were spotless and very comfortable. The hotel staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Two days simply wasn't enough! I will definitely be back next time!"

"Came here for a long weekend. Lovely warm welcome and a much needed warmth from the open fire. Dogs are welcome. Rooms are lovely and the bed is comfy. Tea & coffee with shortbread biscuits are in your room, there is also a hairdryer in the draw. The food is delicious here and make sure you book a slot as it does get busy and I can see why. The lady who tends your room and is also present at breakfast is Sharon, lovely lady and made sure we had everything we needed. Sharon also has her own book of walks and please take a look and take pictures as they are very well explained and can find your way around the walks easily. The staff are so nice here it felt like we were locals. I would like to make a huge point that this establishment DOES NOT WEAR LATEX GLOVES. So any one with a latex allergy you are safe here, I'm so pleased to be writing this 😊 Thankyou for taking care of us, we will definitely recommend and will be back."
