"The parking situation was quite difficult. After a trip to the hotel arrived late in the evening, mostly no parking was found directly in front of the hotel. This was the case for a minimum of 800m longer parking. In bad weather with ice and snow, no pleasure."

"We came for the Christmas market in this picturesque half-timbered town, which is a perfect sight. The hotel is located in the heart of Celle. This puts you on the edge of the Christmas market. The reception at the adjacent restaurant was fine; we were warmly welcomed by the lady and escorted to the hotel. Beautiful large room on the 1st floor. Beautiful large bathroom. The edges of the shower could be a bit cleaner, but nothing serious. Great stay"

"We want to praise the «Celler Tor» for the very pleasant stay. The house is tasteful and beautifully furnished, the rooms are spacious, modern and lightning. The food in the restaurant tasted very well. We especially liked how friendly and carefully the staff acted. My mother suffered from abdominal problems and could not take some of the "normal" foods (why we also had to cancel the stay prematurely) – The staff was extremely helpful and welcome here, Both in the restaurant, the reception and the room cleaning! You note that the business is conducted as a family business, it goes personally and comes, and you are not just a "number" as a guest despite the size of the hotel. What I was very positive is that restaurant staff keep eye contact at every contact, take time for a short "snack" and seem to be happy to work (and partly have been working here for decades, We are very happy to come back and can only recommend the Celler Tor!"

"Hesse hotel is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Reception. When first getting here there was little advice or help with anything . Bar was not open no food was being sold . Breakfast. Choice of breakfast was egg or hotdog sausages no bacon very poor selection of continental choices tinned fruit at best . When ask for bacon or something told there isn't any and shunned away. Having stayed here for 4 days in a room with no Internet never cleaned even though requested had to chase for clean towels . Staff make you feel terrible everything is hassle for them. There are better hotels around the area for a similar price after talking to people . Please dont spoil your holiday by staying here ."
