"I am traveling to Johannesburg for business and have Bonvoy Gold Elite status. Apparently that did not mean much because even though my executive assistant confirmed the reservation the day before, I received a cancellation notice from them while I was in flight. Thinking it was a mistake, I showed up to check in. In fact they had my paperwork but then could not find my reservation and had no explanation other than they are fully booked…totally the worse experience I have had at a Marriott property yet!"

"Second time coming here and i must say things are not good. Just booked for one day as I had an urgent appointment in Centurion. Receptionist was nice, especially the trainee. Room was a bit dusty , entrance was dusty on arrival. Called for iron and was told to go fetch it at reception.Thank you to the chef the food was nice. Please improve , would be nice to have bar fridge ,water on the table and alteast iron and iron board in the lobby ."

"Our arrival at the property started with the lady at reception telling us the family room we booked was unavailable. Nobody had sent a message or given us the option to change our booking in advance which is unfair if they cannot provide what we booked. We were travelling with our two girls 7 and 10 and getting them to lock themselves in their room in a “shared” cottage was less than ideal. We had a sleepless night with them coming into our room, as scared, and all of this the night before our older daughter was competing. The place is in serious need of renovation. It’s old and run down. The Leather chair in our room was peeling, the rooms are dark and a bit grim to be honest. Only highlight was the lively ladies at breakfast. They truly did their best and were lovely with the kids. I wish we could have given the owners feedback but nobody was at reception when we left and we received no direct communication from the property or an apology regarding the room."

"We stayed at Leopard Song for 4 days. Upon arrival we felt immediately welcomed and at home. We were a big loud group and Joretha handled us fabously! The views to the golf course and the sunset in the evenings were definitely a highlight for us. The Honesty Bar worked great and every evening we would go and have a drink on the balcony and watch the sunset. The staff was amazing and we were greeted with a smile every morning! The location makes it super easy to travel to PTA or Joburg wiithout a problem. We wil definitely be staying at Leopard Song again when we return to SA for a family visit. Regards from Germany"
