"Checking in was entirely electronic, which was reasonably straightforward but could prove challenging for older guests or anyone less comfortable with technology. The room itself was small and rather enclosed, with its only window facing inwards rather than offering any outside view. Noise was also a problem, particularly the sound of a dog barking and people talking nearby, which became irritating and made it difficult to relax. The bathroom was disappointing. Strangely, the toilet seat was only partially attached and appeared to be the wrong size for the toilet, suggesting a lack of attention to basic maintenance. The bed was moderately comfortable, although not sufficiently so to compensate for the room’s other shortcomings. Overall, the accommodation was functional, but the cramped surroundings, noise and poor maintenance made the stay less comfortable than it should have been."

Oh Nice Ulises Ceuta ★★★★

"They had to change our room. As soon as we entered, there was a bad smell of food. The bottom of the wardrobe was gnawed as if mice had been there. The room was straight out of the 90s, with a tiny window opposite the bed that looked out onto an interior area of drainpipes and ducts. They moved us to an exterior room with more light and no smells. But we will never return to this hotel. The entrance is indeed renovated and looks modern, but the hallways and elevators are nothing like it. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny and old, and the vertical shower window, which used to have double glazing, was gone, and the edge was covered in dampness, smelled bad, and there was water inside the aluminum track. They gave us duvets, but when we went to turn on the air conditioning, it didn't work. We asked the housekeeper to change the duvet for sheets, and she left the sheets on top of the duvet when we arrived. We tried not to let this hotel ruin our trip. The only good thing is the location, right in the center, but be careful if noise bothers you when you sleep because even with the windows closed you can still hear it."

"They charged me €95 for one night because there were no hotels available due to a swimming race in Ceuta, and this was the only room I could find, which someone must have cancelled. The normal price is €75. And the cleanliness... well, I found a strip of wax left by the previous guest in the bathroom. They clearly didn't clean very well. It's unpleasant to find that."
