"The view from the room and the open dinning area was spectacular, room was clean and presentable, and the service was excellent. Everything about the stay was great except the noise from a party that was being held at the hotel by a group kept me up till midnight and sploit my sleep. Maybe sound proofing needs to improve. Overall, it was good enough for me to stay again in future."

"Absolutely amazing experience at Vineet Kumar's place at ITC Chal Hotel, Himachal Pradesh! We had the Himachali Cha Gosht and it was hands down the best mutton I've ever had. The flavor was so rich, tender and full of authentic pahadi spices. But what made it even more special was chef Vineet Kumar himself - his food and service both were outstanding. Genuine hospitality, warm behavior and food made with so much love. If you are staying at ITC Chal and want to taste real home-cooked Himachali food, this is a MUST TRY. 10/10 would come again!"

"Chail Residency was a good place to stay in. View from the Balcony was mesmerizing. Stay was pleasant, quite and calm. Staff was really good and supportive. They helped us for affordable and well behaved cab service too. Breakfast menu as well as taste could have been better, however, lunch and dinner was amazing. neat and clean rooms, good housekeeping staff and good property. We would definately recommend stay at Hotel Chail Residency."

"Nice hotel with good view of the valley from the room balcony. Easily accessible and near to all places of sightseeing. Staff is good and food is finger licking. They also have a super store in the same building with everything available. They also have decathlon products sale counter inside the hotel. Must vist of you are in chail. "

"The stay was fantastic. We had earlier taken the one bhk cottage, however, we were not that comfortable in it , immediately just upon one request, the mgmt, accepted our request to change the room to the cottage suite . Gestures like these when sorted out without any arguments is really appreciative. The property is very nice , well located and a perfect get away. We were 3 of us, including my 6 year old son, who had a ball of a time running around in the open lawns and in the club house. Our anniversary decorations were done in our room and room balcony- amazing. The food is good , i would not say excellent , due to the limitations in choice, however, whatever is provided, is extremely nice. The service is top class and prompt. House keeping is good and.fast. The staff is ever smiling and friendly. Mr. Ram lal was present throughout and ever helpful. Mr. Amritpal sign too is co-operative and a good person to communicate and place all your requests to. They will make sure that the guests are happy and content Will surely visit there again"

"A beautiful cozy space perched on the hills, Maple Resort oozes warm hospitality. We stayed at their suite and were floored by the luxurious setting and peaceful vibe. Not only is the hotel easy to access, but it also has the best cuisine. Their global flavors match with their impeccable hospitality. Best part is that it is pet friendly - they take care of your pets like family and serve them food with the same love and affection. I loved the nature trails and village treks that were so close to the property. If I were to travel to Chail one more time, I would stay at Maple again."

"Firstly it is situated 9 km before chail.you have to stay in the resort itself and if you want to visit chail palace and kali tibba you have to drive approx 30_35 minutes. It is the night drive that might scare you. No light at all and if u are stuck somewhere help is difficult to find. About resort View is good but be prepared for insects around rooms, in open areas and some in room too. Room rent is hefty as compared to other hotels. Parking is too steep, you need to be good experienced driver to take out your car. Food is expensive as there is no option for the guest to go out and have something. All most five star rates and still you have to wait for 45 minutes for your order preparation that too in season that is in June when there all 16 rooms are occupied. Rooms are small for four bedded types. Actually they are taking advantage of sofa cum bed. They charge almost double the tariff of single room in a four bedded room saying it becomes a full sized bed while it is only 5.3 ft bed means if u are above 5.6 then be prepared to have your legs dangling in air. My room washroom door lock was not working, first I complained and it was corrected. Then jet spray was not working and the shower was a tap itself it was throwing water only as a tap. "
