Best Hotels in Chester County

The hotel exterior was very nice lobby area as pictured. Room was not what I thought it would be, be careful pictures do not match what you are booking. Paid for breakfast but when we got there we were told it's a bagged breakfast, very disappointed. When we got to the room it was freezing, not cold but freezing. We turned on the heat on high and the room was still cold 60 minutes later when we left for dinner. If your looking for a one nighter to lay your head, I would recommend this hotel, but not for an extended stay.

Stayed here with my husband, I love all the work they put into the renovations, the place looks great. Rooms were clean and I enjoyed the fire pit outside. They also had a grill if you wanted to cook, but we had plans to go to the Pour House, which was literally next door. That's a plus for me since there wasn't a bar onsite. I would stay here again when in the area.

I am a solo female traveler and was in town for a concert. This property was absolutely flawless! It is soooo close too all the concert venues. Checkin was easy. Everything was very clean and we’ll appointed. The desk agent was an absolute gem! He was very helpful and kind.

The walls are very thin and could here people upstairs and next using the bathroom. The bed was very uncomfortable. Did not get a good night sleep due to the noise and uncomfortable bed.

Nice location close to turnpike. Hotel staff was very attentive and always greeted with a smile. Comfortable room and beautiful lobby area. Plenty of choices on dining that are close to hotel. My only complaint is breakfast was a little over priced.

The room was very good, clean, nice size, with a larger-scale mini fridge than those you usually see in a hotel room. The water pressure and heat in the shower was very good. The front desk attendant who checked me in on Tuesday, February 21 at 10 pm was WONDERFUL. I wish I could remember her name to give her a proper shout out. The attendant the next morning (2/22 at 8 am) was also great. Carmen in the kitchen/breakfast area was another fantastic staff member. Having a great staff really does make a difference in a customer's stay, and these people really did make me feel (and probably everyone they encountered) like I was a valued customer. The main issue I had with my stay is the design of the parking lot, and how cars pull right up to the windows of the rooms. I was on the first floor, room 115, and there was a car just outside my window, just like the parking layout of many other hotels/motels. So of course, the beep-beep of the car locking, was something I heard quite a bit. Even late at night when I was trying to sleep. Unfortunately, there were customers outside talking right outside my window in the wee hours of the morning, also disturbing my sleep. To make things worse, this particular car outside my window, loaded up their car at 6:42 am, after interrupting my sleep several times. And the woman in that group outside was quite a loud cackler. I know rude customers aren't the fault of the hotel, but I didn't get a great sleep here. Maybe a room on the second floor would have less disturbances from the parking lot? If the hotel would ever change the layout of the parking area so that the cars park further away from the rooms, it would probably make a huge difference. The breakfast was mediocre. Free, so that was really nice, and like I said, Carmen wanted to make sure that everyone was having a nice breakfast. Great location, perfect for a stop on the way to NY, and a gas station just up the turnpike for a fill-up.

Decided to book this hotel based on the reviews and the proximity of the area we were exploring. Overall the hotel experience was good, there’s were 2 misses. We are staying in room 323 on the backside of the hotel facing the highway and it’s very noisy, especially at night when you’re trying to sleep. The cars are probably driving by at least 60 miles an hour. If you decide to stay here try to get a room on the opposite side. The other miss was that the hot tub was not working. We did a lot of walking over 2 days at Longwood Gardens and were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub for a few minutes but when we came in that evening and asked about the hot tub we were told that it wasn’t working. Our stay included breakfast which consisted of premade breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels oatmeal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, etc. on our last day they had scrambled eggs and bacon. If you want your room cleaned you have to notify the front desk and they will freshen it, otherwise the cleaning staff doesn’t come in. The hotel is right down the road from Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Valley museum as well as several other attractions in the area. there are several stores in the area including Walmart, TJ Maxx, Wegman’s and Giant and several antique shops just up the road. There are also several restaurants nearby. Also very close to the downtown of Kennett Square. We would probably stay here again if we come back to this area.

My husband and I was there celebrating our 25th year anniversary and we couldn't be happier. The service and the warm greeting that we received when we arrived was excellent. The staff talked to us like they knew us for years and that what made our stay there all worth it. Every time we leave or arrive they spoke to us, and even asked how hour day went. The room was very clean and in excellent conditions. We had plenty of towels and tissue when we arrived. The whole facilities was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. I really recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a place that is home away from home vive. We will be back!
