The horizontal and vertical lines seemed washed by clear water, yet curved lines lurked at the corners. The lamp wasn't really a lamp, but rather a ball of inextricable moonlight, softly slumped in the corner. The furniture's edges were rounded, as if shaped not by a carpenter's hand but by the caress of countless gentle mornings and evenings. The most remarkable thing was their care. The word "care" is often overused, but only here did it truly shine. The towel was neatly folded, yet a deliberate diagonal crease was created at the corner, resembling hair ruffled by a spring breeze. There's always a fresh flower in the small vase on my desk—sometimes a mountain peach, sometimes a wild fern, clearly gathered daily by someone stepping on the dew. At night, when I open the window, the mountain breeze, wrapped in bamboo shadows, glides in, spreading a swaying silk across the bed. The occasional insect chirp is restrained, a few or three before dying down, as if afraid to disturb someone's sweet dreams. When I wake up in the morning, mist is drifting up from the valley, and fine droplets of water condense on the window lattice. I reach out and wipe it, and a chill creeps up my fingertips into my heart, only to quickly dissolve into a gentle sweetness. Looking back upon leaving, the celestial abode fades in the morning light, leaving only a shadow. Suddenly, I realize that home isn't necessarily an old house with blue bricks and black tiles. Sometimes, two nights of warmth are enough to cherish for a lifetime."
