Very close to the East Station, only 10 minutes walk with luggage. The surrounding scenery is also nice. The only downside is that on the first day of stay (Saturday, 12/7), I don't know why the church bells across the street rang frequently, which affected my sleep a bit (maybe it was a Christmas event)

The hotel located really near to the train station. It was a best choice for tourist who never visit Interlaken and need some place that is easy to be found. It also got a great lake and mountain view from the room. The room itself is clean and beautiful. Really recommended place to stay.

Hotel Chalet Swiss thank you! I had a great stay with you. Thank you for all the staff who were very accommodating and helpful. Very clean place to stay & they cleaned the room daily. Near location to bus & train station-Interlaken West. Very satisfying breakfast. They give a blue card for free bus ride.
I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The room was relatively small. The family room I ordered had two small beds in the attic, but there was no air conditioning in the room. The attic was soaked in the sun during the day and was very hot at night, making it impossible to sleep. I don’t understand that it’s very hot in summer and there is no air conditioning.

Location wise, nothing much to critique as it’s situated right beside the train station. You can’t get anything more convenient than this.
We like the modern design of the room, generally. The only negative point we experienced was the smell. There was a smell (smells like pee) inside the room but surprisingly not the toilet. Toilet actually smells better than the room. Ventilation was poorly managed, I guess. And the staff said there’s nothing they could do about it and to my biggest surprise, the hotel does not have an air freshener at all!
Contrary to those reviews saying how good the breakfast is, I find it quite disappointing. Food selection is so limited and the quality wasn’t better or even on par with the typical hotel breakfast standard.
Here I would like to commend on a particular staff named Iulia (not sure if I spell it correctly). She is nice, friendly and accommodating. I would like to thank her for her hospitality.
Overall, I would probably come back to stay again at Essential for its perfect location.

There was a slight mistake due to booking several months in advance, but the staff managed to find a new room for us in the same area.
The location is very good, convenient to travel.
The kitchen facilities are very good.
Spacious room, 1 unit, 2 bedrooms, comfortably accommodates 4 people.

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the West Station. The old-fashioned house is clean and comfortable. The indoor area is also OK. Breakfast is ordinary, panel, ham. Recommended to stay. Very convenient.

The hotel's facilities and services are very good! The location is also very convenient! The bus only takes 10 minutes to the Central Station. There are many restaurant options and shopping places nearby. There is a supermarket just one stop away by bus or about 700 meters walk.

NNgBrandonWe reached Intelaken early and the hotel reception was nice to allow us an early check-in. Although the exterior of the hotel is old, however, I was surprised when I went into the room. It is newly renovated and very tasteful. It is clean and I love that they have a rack to hang our jackets when we enter the room. The room comes with a nice balcony over looking the roundabout.
Amenties: Hotel provide free coffee and hot chocolate at the hotel lobby (great for waiting). They even have a portable water tap that I use to fill my bottles (buying bottled water in Switzerland is expensive).
Breakfast: Usual spread (scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausages). They have a great coffee machine and I will drink at least 2 cups of black coffee during breakfast. They even have a nice view of the Swiss alps which makes a great start to our day.

ZZherMy stay was comfortable. The hostel is directly beside the train station and the location is perfect. From the dorm room, you can see fantastic view and it is breathtaking. The environment and location makes the stay enjoyable. The building is new and modern, however showers are not together with the toilets and no shower amenities such as soap or towel is provided, and you have to do your bed on your own. However, overall stay was great, breakfast was okay, there is also pool table in the lobby. The power socket isn't suitable for the ordinary European type, but they do lent travel adaptors with 10 euro deposit. Will consider coming back here for the view.

I had a good overnight stay with you.
I got a single room with separate bathroom, very clean.
The room’s space is not too small,room is clean.
Location is near Interlaken West about 5 minutes walk.
Coop shop and a pharmacy is just nearby.
The staff were so amazing and helpful.
They have a room storage for luggages.
The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choices.

SSimon Ho 1968The guestroom was good, very clean & hotel amenities ”Pure Herbs” was very good. Front office staff & Housekeeping was kind to provide a few more additional bottles for our 3 nights stay. Our room was facing the road but we had very quiet & peaceful rest. The view from the window was breathtaking. The staff at the restaurant provide excellent service and took care of us very well during our stay. We will definitely come back to stay again when in Interlaken.
The location of the hotel can be access by bus 103 from both Interlaken west & Interlaken ost train stations or a 15 mins walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Very convenient. Easy to locate.
However, it will not be the place for the budget conscious. You are in Switzerland anyway, pamper yourself to the high ”quality of life”

Our room gives us a feel as though we are living in the lap of luxury!
The perfect blend of size & style, we are amazed with their spaciousness & exquisite decor. They provide bedroom slippers provided, toothbrush, shaver & cream, cotton pad, safe, hair dryer, etc. These advanced amenities definitely make our stay nothing short of perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The location of the hotel was awesome. It's just a few minutes walk to the Interlaken West Station. There's also many different buses u can take to many different beautiful attractions like Lake Brienz.
I have seen many reviews about the cheese fondue from their restaurant. We tried it too & was so in love with it. As we brought our 3.5yrs old child along, we can only have cheese fondue without alcohol. We replaced it with apple juice at an additional cost of 5chf. Indeed food was really good! And the waiters were really kind & friendly. They were very kind & patient with our little girl. She was given colouring materials for entertainment. Thanks to the waiters. We had lots of laughter while enjoying our meals.
Oh yes, there's a big fluffy black cat who often patronise the hotel & restaurant. It usually sleeps on the first chair near the left of the entrance. Staff of the hotel & restaurant are really nice, loving little animals & taking care of them very well.
Overall, it was a very wonderful experience staying here. We would gladly come back again!

The frontdesk helped me with an early checkin and also upgraded my room with a bath-tub. The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view…
The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options.
The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁
Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel.
The market is at walking distance and also the OST station is very closeby.
Thanks Carlton Team for making our stay pleasant and memorable…

AAnonymous UserThe room is well equipped with basic amenities and quality of products used in the room for guests are good. Hotel breakfasts are delicious. Overall the hotel experience at Royal at Georges is memorable and we are satisfied with the hotel stay there. The location is around ten minutes away from interlaken ost station. However there is clock tower nearby which chimes a lot during the night.

GGuest UserIn Switzerland, any building may be hundreds of years old. Walking around the town is like traveling through time and space to talk about history. I changed my itinerary at short notice and accidentally booked this small hotel that opened 118 years ago. The last room is a loft with a window. It is small but exquisite. You can see a different kind of scenery through the skylight. One window, one bed and one person are enough!

GGuest UserThe bathroom was very simple without any shampoo or shower gel provided which was different from the description on booking. There was no one at the reception and you have to do the check-in and check-our by yourself. Can't expect too much as it is a hostel.

ZzhubaoermaThe hotel is in a very good location. There are various shops outside. There are buses 103 and 21 at the intersection. You can take the bus for free with the transportation card issued by the hotel, and you can also get a souvenir silver spoon. The owner is Chinese. There is Fu Ji Restaurant downstairs. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount. The room is big enough. The bedding doesn't feel very new, but we always bring disposable bedding when we go out, so it's okay. It feels like a homestay, and the view from the small balcony is also good. It feels similar to the four-star hotel opposite us.
