"West facing room, view over the V&A museum. Room was immaculate, with tea/coffee station. We had a swim in the pool which is lovely too. Staff very friendly. Kindly gave us some toothbrushes as we forgot. Will definitely be back. We didn't opt for breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive. The room toiletries smelled amazing."

"The Hotel was satisfactory accommodation, the bathroom was clean and tidy, room was very spacious and beds were large and made well. For the price the room was very satisfactory and the only few issues we had is the walls had been repainted a bit shoddy in places and there wasnt a hairdryer, although there was a fan which was a nice suprise."

"No real complaints about hotel. All staff, reception, cleaners, waiters were very friendly & efficient. Hotel itself is a little dated & in need of an upgrade although the large beds are very comfortable. Small leisure centre is decent with swimming pool, sauna, steam room & gym. Location is just outside the city & only a 5- 10 minute drive. Hotel gardens are nice. Only real disappiontment was the cooked part of the breakfast. All the usual choices, cereal,fruit, yogurts etc ok but the hot food especially the eggs were well overcooked both mornings. Mushroom sitting in water, also the tomatoes. Otherwise, everything ok."

"I know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner."

"Overall it was great experience. I didntvl8ke the grey nets, and although the view was great, the frigate unicorn and tay bridge, right in front was kinda building site..but hey ho Dundee is a city after all. Laura and I were lovely welcomed by your bubbly curly haired receptionist. We ghatt3d to her mist and she is truly am asset to you. We had afternoon tea and cocktails 🍸 lovely. Next day your lovely 😍 receptionist kept our bags and laughed over how we shopped till we dropped. Great feature with key fobs...we use phrase at work constantly....I've got the key, I've got the secret. Would recommend malmasion anytime 😊"
