"We had a truly wonderful stay at Kashikojima Hojoen. The Japanese-style hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and the dinner was absolutely fantastic — a full Japanese-style meal experience that was both refined and satisfying. The facilities are reasonably maintained, and the highlight for us was the outdoor onsen — incredibly relaxing, peaceful, and enjoyable. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this ryokan/resort to anyone visiting the Ise–Shima area for a true Japanese experience."

"Stay for one night to visit the Shima Spain Village. The location is a little bit far from the main station. However, the hotel have shuttle bus service and we could arrive the destination smoothly. The room is clean, the free hot spring (onsen) is good, the buffet-style breakfast is not bad, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, it's a nice stay."

"We arrived early on the day of check-in and waited briefly in the lobby before being escorted to our room around 3:00. We were given a large twin room with tatami mats. While the furniture was a bit worn, it was very clean. The air conditioner was a Daikin brand and looked brand new. The staff, though not very numerous, were very helpful. Breakfast was a Japanese set menu delivered to the room. Kashikojima Station is less than a ten-minute walk away, and the hotel offers a morning shuttle service. Kashikojima gradually becomes quiet around 5:00 or 6:00, and restaurants and convenience stores at the station close by 6:00. We didn't book dinner at the hotel, so we took the train two stops later to eat."

"The hotel suite is 100m2 and is huge . Our suite was with 3 futons, perfect for 3 gentlemen. The huge bathroom was well supplied with the nicest cosmetic amenities and fluffy towels. Everything in the refrigerator was free, even wines. However we did not consume any. The Club lounge on the fifth floor was already well supplied with all kinds of snacks, beverages and wines, open from morning to late night. We had a Japanese breakfast on day and a western breakfast on the second day. Both were excellent."

"This hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from Ugata Station. The rooms are comfortable and the service is warm and attentive! The breakfast spread is also extensive. I suggest the hotel post the specific station for the shuttle service on their website so guests know beforehand (we only found out which station to go to for the shuttle after emailing the hotel)."

"Family run accommodation which doesn't feel like commercial hotels. It feels so homely with daily breakfast provided and served with their hearts. Right behind is a small floating platforms where you'll see baskets of scallops, oysters and also big fishes in nets. I chose this place because of this where I can just go to the back and start fishing with wonderful views all around. Parking lots are limited but was lucky to always come back with a lot available. Older gentleman was very kind to share how to fish even though there's a language barrier. Overall a very nice secluded area if you like peace and serenity. And fishing too of course."
