"The hotel was very satisfactory and ideally located, close to a metro station with a direct line to the center of Paris. The staff were professional, welcoming, and spoke English. The only downside was the air conditioning in our room. It stopped working every single night during our three-night stay. Despite reporting it to the reception, and we clearly weren't the only ones experiencing this issue, the problem was never resolved. This was particularly problematic as we were staying during a heatwave. We had to wake up each night to turn the air conditioning back on, as the room temperature would reach up to 29°C when it stopped."

"Just say NO to *****  I went to check into this hotel and as soon as I walked in the lobby I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of ********* that was coming from the direction of the rooms and other  guests walking by.  I immediately got a headache  from the skunk stench.  I told the receptionist this was unacceptable for me and I did not feel comfortable staying and being around that type of environment or clientele.  The receptionist she said she smelled smoke too, but couldn’t say it was  ********* , see my attached translation to her , all while non-smoking signs are posted throughout the lobby. She said there was nothing she could do and  she couldn’t issue a refund. I declined to check in  or even bother looking at the rooms as  this was clear foreshadowing of what my experience would further be.  I made my reservation through Trip.com, who tried to get me a refund, but the management of this property would not allow it . Trip then gave me 2300  trip points to compensate  for the  160 euros I lost on the reservation and my negative experience. Trip.com representatives were amazing and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf . Thank you trip !  I wrote this same  review  on Google Maps  and the owner of the property called me a liar , and said I never was a guest at the hotel, which is a LIE! See their attached screenshot . I think this speaks  volumes to what type of establishment and management you’d be dealing with if you stay here . A simple apology and a refund would have fixed the problem , basic hospitality 101.  I then was inconvenience to find other accommodations , I went to  L'imprimerie hôtel in Clichy which was amazing and a great experience. 4 stars!  C’est la vie!"

"An old hotel, very well located, just a few steps from the metro station. It offers a varied breakfast (eggs, fruit, cheeses, coffee, juices, etc.), and the reception staff is very friendly. The elevators are located on half the floors, and the stairs are very narrow, making it difficult to access large suitcases. The musty smell in the rooms could be improved. The metro station is called Mairie de Clichy; don't be confused, there are several stations named after Clichy."

"The room was quite small, but Paris hotels are pretty similar. I stayed there for two nights, and the price was exceptionally high during the Paris Air Show. Honestly, at over 240 euros a night, the conditions were a bit disappointing. The biggest issue was the VAT invoice. I asked the front desk for separate invoices upon check-out, but they still issued the same invoice. I called Ctrip four times, and they kept saying they couldn't issue it, then the machine was broken, and then they sent me the wrong invoice. The follow-up service was truly disappointing."

"The room was standard, small, a bit dated, with a plastic shower curtain. The reception was open in the evenings, but unhelpful on Saturday and Sunday nights. The water dispenser was out of order on Saturday, and no one made an effort to fix it for guests. I should have ordered a taxi more quickly on Sunday. The elevator got stuck on Saturday night and plummeted 25 cm. Luckily, the door opened. There's still room for improvement in terms of customer service on Saturday and Sunday nights."

"For this price point, it's pretty good. I study in the South of France and always book this hotel when I come to Paris. The hotel lobby is very bright, and although the hallways upstairs and the rooms are a bit dim, that's their style, and I've gotten used to it and actually find it quite nice. It's very close to the metro station, about a ten-minute walk. There are also some small shops nearby, so you can grab some snacks if you get back early."

Aside from that, the mini kitchen was very useful, complete with pans, utensils and mini ref. I just wish they have exhaust for whenever you plan to cook.
