"Was there in may for an event. Usually go there for our family events. Place always lovely and clean. Staff fantastic and helpful. Young waiters and waitresses very attentive even when run off their feet busy. Grounds perfect for a stroll after or before dinner. It's a very family run hotel. I'm not a fan of these big chain run hotels that's are so clinical. I love the cosy home from home style but still classy, elegant and charming. I know the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and it truly pays off for an amazing experience. Will be back again! Food is always yummy."

"Arrived very early around 10 and the staff gave us a really warm welcome and brought us to the room. The staff are just Amaing,welcoming and very helpful .the 2 girls who dealt with us were fabulous. Room basic and comfortable and provides alone needs . It was a very good price and would return to see the girls who’s names I’ve forgotten. Breakfast fantastic "

"My grandson had his holy communion celebration in this beautiful hotel. It was the best day ever with the weather being so good. We got to sit on the well manacured lawn for the afternoon and the children had such fun playing tennis then football and finishing with team racing happy memories were made. I cant thank the management and their team of well trained polite and obliging staff enough. Nothing was a bother to them made the day so relaxed and enjoyable. Mr. Nallen is well know for serving the best roast beef and he did not disappoint on the day. Thanks so much to everyone for making our littles boys day so special . I highly recommend this hotel."

Dinner & breakfast were so tasty and very well presented. "We had a great stay Bargain prices you wouldn't get anywhere! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We were very well looked after. The old building has a lot of history from the town, it was home to a former Lord Mayor or two. The decor is charmingly vintage with vintage dressers in breakfast room and vintage fittings and ware. Cleanliness very high. Delicious breakfast set us up for our busy day. Highly recommend Fennessys We will definitely stay here again when in Clonmel"
