"Lovely chateau with great grounds. We arrived early and our room was available, the staff at checking were very helpful. Our room was not in the main house which suited us fine. The bed was a good size, bathroom was a good size and the room was suitable for two nights. We did eat at the garden restaurant the food and service were first class. The hotel is about 2 km from the port which is a busy fishing harbour, worth a visit. We visited some of the D Day memorial sites which were very moving especially the Omaha beach and the Bayeux Commonwealth. Bayeaux which is nearby is a lovely town with some very interesting things to see. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to go back next year."
