📍 Sychnant Pass Rd, Larkhill, Conwy

"Didn't know what to expect as I'd never stayed in a hostel before but was pleasantly surprised! I was made to feel very welcome by all staff members, the place is really big with a big self catering kitchen, bar, large communal areas and games room. The location is stunning too! You have the mountains, and the harbour, as well as the amazing castle, all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to everyone. Was spotlessly clean too."

The Erskine Arms ★★★★

📍 Rose Hill St, Conwy

"A very cozy hotel, it seems to be a chain hotel in the Wales area. It has a white appearance and is clean and refreshing. When I arrived, one of the three free parking spaces across the road from the hotel happened to be vacant. Park and follow the hotel. Ask at the front desk - although it is not the time to check in at 3pm, you can park your car and use the toilet; it is very close to Conwy Castle and the city wall. I visited the castle first and then walked back to the hotel along the city wall to check in and check in. The front desk was white The young man enthusiastically helped us carry our two suitcases up the narrow wooden stairs covered with thick blankets; the curtains were made of Welsh pure wool plaid; the bathroom had white tiles, the toilet seat had wooden washers, and the bedding was made of pure cotton. There is a plaid, thick lip blanket, breakfast is served and you can order it by yourself; coffee is served from a pot on the table, and you can help yourself with juice. The next morning after dinner, we walked around the city wall and the center of the town."

Number 18 ★★★★

📍 18 Rose Hill St, Conwy

"Loved the quirky and eccentric decor. Bed was not a US king, bathroom was tight. Bed was firm, husband really liked that. Breakfast served in room. Host was friendly, greeted us at check in and check out, otherwise was rather hand off. If you don't like a host hovering around you, this is the place to you."

Bryn Derwen Guest House

📍 Woodlands, Llanrwst Rd, Gyffin, Conwy

"The stay was fantastic! The hosts are hospitable and considerate. The location is good, only 10 minutes' walk from the conwy train station, also not far from tourist attractions. There is a free car park behind the building. The room is clean and well-equipped, and very warm during winter. The bed is very cozy as well. The breakfast was amazing and the recommended restaurants were also delicious. Highly recommended!(A pleasant view taken in front of the house attached)"

The Groes Inn ★★★★
"This is now going to be our go to whenever we are up visiting family. We only booked one night as we had actually booked to stay elsewhere and that place had no space for our first night so we decided to just book that first night at The Groes and my word the other place was dissapointing in comparison. Can't wait to come back here."

"Whilst it is starting to look a little tired around the edges this is a decent hostel just outside town with some beautiful views in both directions. Twin room with bunk was very small but cosy and clean and pretty quiet. Shower was ok, temperature was inconsistent but nice and powerful. Cost of drinks is shocking, breakfast was decent and staff were freindly without being effusive."

"A wonderfully quirky BnB in a fantastic location right by the town walls with great views of the castle. We were given a lovely welcome by Melissa. The whole place is an amazing collection of 60s and 70s kitch which combines to make a glorious retro feel. The continental breakfast delivered to the room was delicious and plentiful, and she was able to cater for my gluten free needs without a problem. There is no on site parking but a very reasonably priced 24 hr car park nearby. It is about a 5 minute drive but only a minute walk though the city wall so don't panic. There are stairs to some rooms that would need to be a consideration for some. Other than that a fantastic place to stay"
