Stayed on a 2nd floor two bedroom apartment, comfortable beds with a very spacious balcony. Great cafe downstairs. Cable TV, Kitchen, Laundry. Recommend for the price it was fairly decent value for money in an area which can vary greatly in price and quality."

"I had an absolutely awful experience staying at Bella Mare Coolangatta. The couch in the apartment had been urinated on, and the entire place reeked of an unbearable stench. It was clear that no proper cleaning had been done before my stay. To make matters worse, I tried calling and emailing management multiple times, and they completely ignored me—no response, no accountability. This level of negligence is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re considering staying here, think twice. There are plenty of other places in Coolangatta that actually care about cleanliness and customer service. Bella Mare is a disgrace."

"The view was more than I expected, fabulous! There was a problem with condensation in the bathroom, apparently because the floor below has their air conditioner set too high? Anyway, there was pooled water on the bathroom floor most of the time. It’s position makes up for any negativities. Could doneith a little spruce up."

"Staying at the Marcoola Ramada Wyndam resort, lovely tree lined walkway to beach. We’re in a hotel style room with a small balcony for 6 nights.it’s small and pokey but thank goodness for the balcony. It’s an older style hotel but clean, tidy & the staff are very friendly & helpful. Lovely hotel pool quite close to the Bar & Bistro, where the snacks & meals have been very good. Only disappointment would be the room allocation for 6 nights, a bit cramped but otherwise we have made the best of the situation."

"We spent a week at Beachcomber International Resort. Our room was on 9th floor so had a small view from the balcony of the beach and water. The pool and spa on the roof had only about 10 loungers but there was no problem getting a lounger. There were more loungers at the pool on floor 1. We went on the Wednesday bus trip to Byron Bay visiting The Farm, lighthouse and town - this was an excellent trip and worth the money. We also like walking a lot so each day did a walk to Snapper point via Rainbow Bay or to Kiera beach. Many options for eating out and Woolworths was about 200m away. Grab a Go card from Tranz agencies for cheap bus travel."
