Hotel DeVille

"We had a great stay at Deville & SPA Hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent — the staff were accommodating and even made special adjustments for my son. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the fish we shared was outstanding. Everything was great overall, except for some occasional construction noise early in the morning. The AC wasn’t working during our stay, but opening the windows kept the room pleasant. You’ll definitely need a car to stay here, but the location was convenient for exploring nearby areas. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again!"

Relais Villa Alma

"We were visiting south Italy and our flights had an overnight stay in Rome. I ended up booking a room at Villa Alma for the night as it is close to the airport. The taxi from the airport dropped us at the entrance to the street instead of driving us to the front of the building. The driver was also rude and dismissive. It was late when we arrived. So about 10:30pm. Normally check in to Villa Alma closes at 9pm but the owner (Opi??) was waiting for us outside to guide us to the building. Since the taxi did not take us all the way to the door, we were not clear which building to go to but Opi waiting for us outside really helped. Opi was furious that the taxi driver was rude and also made us walk. When we told him what we paid for the ride, he told us he overcharged us and that was wrong. He said he was planning to go to the airport in the morning so he could drop us off as well. We went for a walk and had dinner. This is a nice neighborhood with a canal running through it. It has bridges over it. The view is nice. Also there are plenty of restaurants and bars open in very easy walking distance. We enjoyed our walk a lot. It seems this neighborhood has some festivals in summer so it might be good to go back. Anyway the room was clean, smelled good, well maintained and overall pleasant. We stayed at the room in the first floor (half a flight of walk up) Opi had a breakfast ready for us when we got up in the morning. He had juice, filled croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea etc. Overall I would say the breakfast was nice. He ended up driving us to the airport (along with somebody who works there) as he promised and refused to take money to make up for the bad treatment we had by the taxi driver the night before. We insisted but he refused it. Such a nice guy who made us feel good and happy to meet him. In general I prefer to not to write negative only reviews. But I made sure to write when somebody goes above and beyond. So in general this stay was definitely a good one."

Madrigale Panoramic Lifestyle & Soulful Hotel

"My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time, once again, at Hotel Madrigale. What impresses us each year is the staff. Sultan and Michael are always very friendly, attentive and professional in their work. One person, however, who always stands out is Angelo. He was off from work for two days when we first arrived. The hotel did not quite feel the same without him, everything was perfect, however something was missing. When Angelo greeted us the next morning with a very enthusiastic „Buongiorno“, we felt like we finally arrived in Bella Italia. His positive energy fills the room. He makes us feel like we have been invited to a large family breakfast in Italy. Even though he is very busy, he takes the time to greet each hotel guest and to wish everyone a “Buona Giornata” . In the evening he welcomes each guest and wishes every guest a good evening. He makes everyone feel like they are special guest who have arrived home for dinner. He manages this well serving meals and guests needs to perfection. I would also like to mention the lovely middle aged woman who cleaned our room. She was so friendly when I came to the room to get something. She even gave me a tip on how to care for the flowers I had in the room. There were also a few new faces serving the pool during the day. I was so delighted when Stephanie could speak to me in English. With all the positive attitudes of everyone at the hotel, including the very welcoming and helpful women at the front desk, it shows that this is a family run business that cares for their staff. Additionally, the half board is excellent. The breakfast is amazing! There is everything imaginable to choose from. There are even lactose and gluten free selections. The service is superior to none. You never have to wait to order a cappuccino or a special order omelette; which does not cost extra. The dinner was excellent. There is a large salad bar/antipasto selection to start with. Followed by a 4 course gourmet quality dinner. The pools are fantastic. The guests must be 14 years of age or older which truly makes a difference for a relaxing day at the pool. The panoramic view from both of the large pools is breathtaking. We had a blue lake triple room which had the gorgeous view of the village of Garda and the sail boats on the lake. The Spa area was closed during high summer, therefore we did not visit it. However, we are sure it must be great considering everything else at the hotel is superior. We have made Hotel Madrigale our annual visit to Northern Italy. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday."

Poiano Garda Resort Appartamenti

"We had a very disappointing experience and cannot recommend this resort. The apartments have a strong, persistent musty smell, which was confirmed not only by us but also by other guests. It feels like a mix of old furniture, humidity and possibly mold. Our first apartment (C25) also had ants in the kitchen, which we documented. After multiple complaints and waiting more than 3 hours with two small children, we were moved to another apartment (C23). Unfortunately, the situation did not improve. The second apartment had: • the same strong unpleasant smell • visible humidity damage on the wall • and a constant water pipe noise during the night, starting around 5 a.m., making it impossible to sleep We were shown additional apartments, but all had the same strong smell. Even departing guests confirmed this issue. Despite all these problems and multiple attempts to find a solution, no acceptable accommodation was provided. In the end, we had to check out early. What is most disappointing is that the hotel refused any refund for the unused nights, even though the conditions were clearly below acceptable standards. This is absolutely not what you expect from a 4-star resort."

Boffenigo - the Golden Hour

"great place - -great staff. nice spa. good for biking. close to garda and other towns. few small complaints regarding variety at breakfast (same every day) and wifi in the garden rooms. other than that we had a lovely time and i would go again."

Locanda San Verolo

"It's called "locanda" but in reality it is a very refined, sophisticated and intimate restaurant. It is a small restaurant with a few tables and could remotely recall the ancient inns. The tables are made of wood and the tablecloths are checked. The dishes are very well prepared and the menu is varied from meat to fish. The service is excellent and also the wine list. I attach photos. I recommend it for an intimate dinner. As for the price I don't think it is cheap! (The dinner was offered to me so I don't know)"

Relais Rossar Boutique Hotel Garda & Hills

"Very pretty hotel with friendly staff, who give you advice about the region and activities, and great service. The rooms are big and breakfast delicious. Very pretty gardens with a perfect pool. We will definitely come again. "

Residence San Michele

"Nice pool and restaurant. Breakfast good, but boring after a few days, it is everyday the same. Not many greens, only tomatonand cucumber. Beautiful panorama. The villa itself is average, bathroom rather poor. We stayed for a week and there was only once cleaning, which is not enough. We spent good days at the pool, as it is a really nice area!"
