"Got soaked by the tap. No complimentary water, a small bottle costs 3.2 Euros. No air conditioning, and they lied, telling me London doesn't have AC, when in reality, other places do. I took a taxi here for 30 pounds, but apparently, bus route 100 goes directly. The pool costs extra. Service was also very poor. There's only one restaurant nearby, with a 30 Euro steak. It's very remote and I don't recommend it. Across the road is a village with no restaurants. The steak was bad, but there was no other option."

"It was a guesthouse, and I chose this one because it offered free overnight parking. The room I received was different from the picture shown when I booked, which was a common problem I encountered during my trip to the UK. The fact that there were no negative reviews out of over forty was also a reason for booking it. The room was small but fairly clean. Since I was only staying one night and had to catch a flight early the next morning, I didn't dwell too much on the room discrepancy. But arguing with them is pointless; they simply won't admit it. Also, many hotel reviews in the UK have negative comments about fleas and rats, so I paid extra attention to the bedding every day. I even brought several sets of disposable four-piece bedding. When I stayed in London, the hotel wasn't clean, so I used duvet covers, but I was lazy and didn't use them at the later hotels. Unexpectedly, I got bitten just before returning home. In this guesthouse, I woke up with itchy legs, and scratching caused red swelling. I'm not sure if it was fleas. After returning home, the swelling became even itchier, and two more swellings appeared next to it. However, I'm not sure if it was from bites at other hotels the previous night. There was a strong, pungent smell as soon as I entered the room. I slept with the window open the whole night. Aside from these issues, it was a decent place to stay. The surrounding area, including the airport and countryside, was very quiet."

"I know it states in the hotel description, but please make note that there is no A/C in this hotel, plus the windows basically do not open. In addition, the room I had been given had been smoked in very recently. While the bathroom, bedsheets etc where adequately clean, the room had not been dusted or thoroughly cleaned for quite a while. As a result the room I was given was a disgusting sauna and was unusable. Thankfully I was able to find a local hotel with A/C that I moved to within an hour. Waste of £60 plus, but you live and learn."

"There isn't one aspect of my stay that I can critique or improve upon. I stayed for 3 nights for work and this place felt like I was returning home every night. Its set in a beautiful garden, in a peaceful and quiet location and the lodge was spotlessly clean and welcoming. The owners give you a warm welcome and a mobile number then they leave you in peace. The lodge has everything you could need. Great central heating, all the streaming services on the television, fast WiFi, a large comfortable bed with good quality pillows and sheets. Nice toiletries and a spacious dual head shower. Full kitchen and spacious parking. I came here for work and yet i feel like I've had a little cheeky break away. I'd highly recommend 👌"
