"What I like : The breakfast! It is not fanciful but enough variety and selection for one to be well fed. I wish there is more vegetarian option as the current vegetarian sausages (?) contains onion. Which is not edible for me, of which our vegetarian practice do not consume onion, garlic , leek The front desk. The young Caucasian lady and the Asian ( I think is Indian if not mistaken ) are both really helpful. The kitchen crew, I think one of the lady's name is Adele or Adela. It was very cold on the day I stayed there , so I can imagine the hard work to withstand the cold and get all food prepare for hotel guests by 6/ 6.30. I am grateful. Gratitude to kitchen team The plumber / engineer. He came helping me to fix the toilet as the water keep flowing. He work really hard towards it getting in and out of the room as the problem is abit tricky. Please recognise his hard work, dedication and determination. I am happy with my stay, it makes me look forward to staying in Holiday Inn when I visit other countries. Sounds like a promising and reliving brand I would be in good hands anywhere I go."

"Great location. 5 minutes walk to station which has great access to Central London and the South East. Rooms are nice. Would like basic amenities like a shower cap. Apart from that everything is nice"

"I have been coming to this hotel for 4 years now but this will be the last time. I was allocated a defective room (safe & heating not working). The solutions to these problems was neither explained nor satisfactory. I eventually changed room but that process was neither quick nor smooth. Then the room cleaning did not take place at a convenient time, and sometimes not at all. Nothing got done without complaining. And the dining room was cold. I expressed my frustrations to an assistant/duty manager who gave the distinct impression that he couldn't care less. I imagine that this hotel's client base comes from passing trade and block bookings and so building customer loyalty might not be a priority. It is however disappointing in a hotel that bears the name of Hilton"

"Room was clean and tidy although we had asked for an extra bed which had not been provided - towels not provided every day however there is a free to use laundry - breakfast is self service and open from 7.30 till 9pm - not a lot of choice but good - room was very noisy a couple of nights with sounds of water flowing all night long - location is a 15 minute walk from nearest train station."

"New 38th floor studio with far reaching views in a skyscraper building with private apartments.  Roof top terrace , library (quiet room), games room, small gym and bar for use. The studio had not been cleaned properly but that was soon rectified. Opposite East Croydon station. The area is a bit rough with lots of litter. But the price is cheap…"
