"The rooms were clean. The hotel was very close to Bikini Beach and it was very enjoyable to start a day with a wonderful view in front of the hotel and have breakfast there. Ahmed gives you information that can help you with everything and they organized great activities, especially the whale shark and snorkel trips were very enjoyable. Spending time with local people on a local island was a different experience. The Bikini Beach area needs to be developed a little more, but there is a small area on the island where they can provide medical assistance, a pharmacy and a market, the food in the restaurants and the hotel's breakfasts are delicious. All the people on the island are very kind."

"Our stay at Dhangethi Inn was charming, delightful, surprising and unforgettable. I dubbed our host, Ahmed Thola, a ‘Fish Whisperer’ and ‘One With the Sea’. The sea is his playground and I swear he communicated with the fish, turtles, manta, whale sharks (and every other sea creature you can think of) to show up just for us every time we went out on his boat. Dhangethi is a Home Island, so you are on a ‘living’ island, not a reclaimed land resort of huts over the water. People attend prayers, children go to school, boats go out to catch fresh fish for families to eat. You can walk the whole island and all its alleys and lanes in a day, but everyday is different. Dhangethi Inn is in the middle of the island, so metaphorically, it is the heart of the island. We so much enjoyed our stay with Thola and his family. To get back to Dhangethi in this lifetime would indeed be lucky."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed here in July 2026 and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We did a total of 6 dives over 2 days, and everything was perfectly organized. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. They even prepared packed meals for us to take on our diving trips, which was a thoughtful touch. The diving was amazing. We saw manta rays, reef sharks, and a shipwreck, and our dive guides were highly professional, experienced, and made every dive safe and enjoyable. The hotel was comfortable, the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of service. I highly recommend South Ari Dive Center to anyone visiting the Maldives. I would definitely come back!"

"My 3 girls and I had a wonderful experience staying at Perla. Siro, Ihkko and their beautiful daughter Liv were amazing hosts along with all the staff that made our stay so awesome. The guesthouse is situated on the main high street very close to local restaurants, shops and minutes from both the jetty and harbour for all the sightseeing/boat tours. It has a pool which is such a welcome treat to cool down and a cool Macaw called Pi that the girls loved saying hello to. We truly had a magical stay at Perla and we hope to be back very soon 🤞🤞"
