"The location and facilities are excellent, as it is within a 3-minute walk of the Dobbiaco bus terminal and has a supermarket called Conad in the same building. Since it is an apartment, you shouldn't expect high service. I stayed for 4 days and they provided plenty of towels. It is a place I would consider staying at again."

"I stayed in this lovely family-run hotel in June 2025 as part of a group hiking tour. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who was very approachable and helpful during our stay. The hotel is kept very clean, has nice restaurant and bar/lounge areas as well as outdoor seating with beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites. It is well-located close to shops, markets and the excellent bus service to nearby towns and sights. While my room and bathroom were on the smaller side, it was immaculate and comfortable, and had a balcony with a nice view. The meal service was excellent and they were very good about accommodating meal restrictions (eg. gluten and dairy). A very good breakfast buffet as well. One of the real treats was the lower floor with a small but clean pool, and various relaxation/ sauna/steam/shower options - don't miss that! A welcome treat after a long day of hiking (or skiing). An excellent hotel in a great location."

"I stayed at the Hotel Santer in Dobbiaco during the recent holidays (as has been the case for several years now!) with my wife. High quality hotel, classy location, welcoming room (we have been asking for and always getting the same one for years), kind and friendly owners, staff who are always available and up to par as well as very professional. Excellent catering, very varied and with good choice. Very welcoming structure, excellent SPA, with an indoor and two outdoor swimming pools (the only drawback is that the newly built outdoor swimming pool has an outdoor access which is not very comfortable but can be improved). Garage available for a fee, useful but could be improved. In conclusion, an excellent hotel with classy attendance. B.C."

"Three adults in a terrible triple room, paying the same per-person rate as a double room. No refrigerator in the room, small curtains filtering light, and a small window overlooking the railway line, causing train noise. Tap water was available for dinner at €2 per jug."
