"Unbeatable location looking over the castle and fishing harbour which is truly atmospheric. That more of less excuses everything else! Rooms are basic with not all plug sockets and lights working and coffee maker was missing. The restaurant was good and excellent value in the evening. Breakfast was less so and very basic. When we arrived there was nobody with working English to check us in. We had problems with access to the beach resort venue (which has a terrific pool by the beach and is free) as the hotel policy had changed from a free shuttle to a charged taxi. This caused confusion. Everything worked out right when the English speaking manager returned including sorting out our onward travel at a sensible price rather than the almost double quoted initially. We may have been a little unlucky. I stayed here in 2013 with no problems."

A Lovely place, great scenery, great staff, good food, decent rooms and overall, a very beautiful place Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience Thanks to the ff staff.. Rita, Esinam, George, Ato, the manager and all those whose names I've forgotten Cons - 1. Unstable electricity, thus the ac's kept going on and off; however, there's a massive genset that is turned on in the evenings and solves the power issues 2. No dstv in the rooms or at the bar 3. My water heater didn't work, so I had to shower with ice cold water Besides that, I'll definitely visit again"
