"Unique hotel, beautifully situated, historically interesting. Good beds! Breakfast was fine, except for the scrambled eggs: that was an unappetizing yellow blob of nasty powder. Unfortunately, you see this often at hotels like Mercure, but this one truly surpassed everything in filthiness. The breakfast bacon wasn't great either."

"Good hotel. Close to centre of town, right next to river. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to get me gluten-free bread for breakfast. The room was quite small but very clean, on ground floor overlooking the river. Good value for money. Good place to stay when not wanting to pay excessively!"
