"We stayed in Hawker as a part of a road trip and as base to a ride into Flanders range. Hawker is very conveniently located for the endeavour. Very basic motel with very basic offering. Definitely needs renovation, and a couple of rooms were wide open and renovating. Our room was clean and bed pretty comfortable. Being a small town, everything was quiet and the whole town and hotel becomes dead after 7pm. It was ok for one night."

Rawnsley Park Station

"Loved the location and the concept. Execution lacking. Eco-Villas cheaply furnished and ours was unclean (dirty crockery and pans, dirty inside drawers, dirty bins…I could go on). Reception area shabby (eg plant pots with their sales labels still on). So many wonderful opportunities overlooked. This place could be stunning with the right care and thought put into it. Overall, for us very disappointing."

Windana Cottages

"Just out of Hawker the views are amazing - plenty of kangaroos too. Cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Washing machine was handy. BBQ too. Hosts went out of their way for us. Great continental breakfast included. Firepit was great. Nice lookouts nearby for a sunset drink."
