She helped booking shark cage diving (with discount!) and even helped us with laundry. Also, if youre in doubt where to have dinner Nicola will make sure to book the best restaurants in the area. This is a must place for staying in gansbaai area if youre looking for the maritime activities"

"What a gem this place is. I had four extra days after a conference in Capetown and booked here after a brief online search.  Karen and Dave have made this a lovely place to be.  As soon as I arrived they invited me to a beer at the cozy pub onsite, gave me great advice on who to book with for shark diving and whale watching… and then later hiking in DeKelders … My “room” as a solo traveler was really a condo— a living room with kitchenette, and then upstairs the bedroom. Good food, good wifi, and good conversation made the experience an A +. Lulu the friendly dog cements the deal to make the place feel like home.!"

The hosts have thought of everything, and they are most helpful with their recommendations and securing reservations. Sandra and Reinhard really go the extra mile. The breakfasts are fresh and so delicious. A little 'surprise" even came with breakfast every morning. There is a beautiful wine cellar, and Sandra was very helpful guiding us in our selection of wine. The coastal path runs right outside the property, making it so easy to walk and enjoy the coastline. We have traveled in many countries, stayed at many fine places; Crayfish Lodge ranks right up at the top, and was a truly memorable experience."
