I asked whether I could checkout later than 10:00 but email was ignored. I asked again, and the answer was negative because "they wanted to clean the room". A cold-shoulder, professionally presented reply, like the soul of the place."

"We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Romania. The room we had was on the top floor and was quite small and with a sloping ceiling I had to be careful not to hit my head. It was clean and despite being in the middle of the city it was very quiet. The restaurant was very good and we booked the inclusive dinner with an extensive choice. The food was very cooked and presented and was very good value for money. Would recommend for a 1 night stay."

"Nice fine dining in a hotel restaurant. The decor is classical and nice to look at. Menu isn't big, but has all the classics. Chicken Kiev was very good. Juicy and succulent. Schnitzel was well cooked and a big portion. Tirimasu was ok Service is very poor. Grumpy and inpatient. Main dishes around 5000HUF each"
