When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! We came here to stay with the opening of the hotel in 2018 and fell somewhat against mostly organizational (children's diseases) and unfinished spaces. Now 6 years later we are here for the second time during our weekend in Tilburg. We started in a smaller position when we called on a quite uninterested and business receptionist. We didn't feel very welcome. We got room 409 on the fourth floor. Very wide room with everything on and on. Wonderful bathroom with indoor shower and bedroom. All was very clean. Fantastic beds and kitchens. Large flat screen, ice cream, coffee and tea facilities. Wel 2 mins: no water available on the room and the Nespresso was defect. Fortunately there is a small self-service in the entrance hall where you can buy everything. What a beautiful hotel is this. Very comfortable furnished and so super quiet. We have not used the wellness, we have just gone to look at the seventh floor and all looks fine, and during our first visit these spaces were not yet completed. We also, after reading the many magazines, have chosen to eat in Tilburg itself wisely, and the breakfast was of good quality and the tables were cleaned this time in time. Our t**** stay was a little more positive than our first visit and it will certainly make us return to this hotel once we are near. Tip: a Nespresso machine is waiting for a maintenance round at room 409 (not going well) and do something to your reception team's friendliness because they are the first face of a hotel. Bijzondere overnachting in dit hotel. Entree is dezelfde entree als het bejaardenhuis wat er aan vast zit. Het ontbijt bevindt zich bij binnenkomst links, waarna je door een gangetje langs de receptie moet lopen om het op te kunnen eten. Daarbij kwam ik dus diverse bejaarden tegen. Ik heb niks tegen bejaarden, maar het geeft een bepaalde sfeer. Het hotel is verder zeer gehorig. Toiletten die door getrokken worden, douche wat in andere kamers aan gaat en gepraat op de gang is allemaal goed te horen. Ook veel geluid van buiten (ligt echt aan het centrum) en aan die zijde hadden wij ook de kamer. Kamer is verder prima, matras was goed. Het dekbed was erg warm (het was uitzonderlijk warm in oktober). Badkamer ook prima. Ontbijt is lekker en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Vanwege de combinatie hotel/bejaardenhuis zou ik niet snel terug gaan, maar dat ligt echt aan mijn eigen ervaringen met een bejaardenhuis en de herinneringen die ik daar aan koppel.

I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. We found it very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by woods and lakes. As well as dining in the hotel we tried several of the restaurants next door to the hotel and in Oisterwijk. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, such as Kasteel Nemelaer, where we enjoyed delicious hazelnut meringues or the Loonse and Drunense Duinen landscape, a large area of sand-dunes. The car park leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise a most enjoyable break.

Great restaurant and wellness and also the rooms are nice and most of them have a balcony. Pretty expensive rooms (I’m uses to travel to Qatar,Dubai and Miami, so I know what good hygiëne,service and luxury is. The beds and theme rooms are awesome. The’re are not dayrooms, it’snt possible to book. Roomservice is ridiculise high, I’d rather tip the employee myself.

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The room was quite clean, I spent a cut of alcoholic cotton on the bars of our girl's bed, it was clean, and the hands of the bathroom and floor of the bathroom. A pleasant surprise. For me, the right price quality. Just that the washing parfum is unacceptably strong and gives the low-range impression.
