"The place is clean and conveniently located near the station, making travel very easy. There's also a supermarket nearby where you can buy food. A slight downside is that the pathway down to the dorm is a bit narrow, and there's no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage can be a bit of a struggle. It would be great if each bed had its own curtain (especially in mixed dorms). However, the breakfast is delicious with many options. You also get a free bus pass for the area, which is a great bonus."

"This hotel is very nice, located halfway up the mountain, quieter and more comfortable than the hotels on the roadside. The room faces the mountain. It has its own parking lot. Breakfast is available until 11 o'clock. There are many varieties and hot food. It is also okay to continue parking after checking out until you finish your afternoon tour. The service staff are very enthusiastic. The room has slippers of good quality, the minibar is free, and there is a gym and spa."

"## Environment The location is absolutely stunning, directly facing snow-capped mountains and a picturesque hillside. The view from our room window was simply gorgeous. It's also conveniently located right next to the train station, and you can even watch trains pass through the beautiful scenery. ## Facilities Although the hotel is historic, it's impeccably clean and well-maintained. It beautifully combines classic charm with modern conveniences. Parking is available but costs 25 CHF per day. ## Service Overall, the service was quite good. However, on our second day, housekeeping didn't replenish our complimentary water bottles, seemingly because we hadn't finished the ones from the previous day. When we finished them and called reception for more, we were initially told there would be a charge. After we explained that the water hadn't been refilled during cleaning, they promptly sent some up free of charge. Interestingly, the mini-bar drinks are complimentary. On a lighter note, the cleaning staff accidentally left a cleaning cloth behind, haha! Each of us also received a complimentary voucher for the evening lounge, redeemable for a drink while enjoying live piano music – a really nice touch. The pool was wonderfully empty, but unfortunately, the sauna was out of order that day."

"Very nice wooden house hotel, located opposite Grindelwald Church, about 3 bus stops from the train station. You can take the 121, 122, 123 free buses to get there. The bus interval is about 10-20 minutes, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the train station. The interior of the room we were given was old, but the bathroom had been renovated. The breakfast was rich, the service was also very good, and most importantly, the hotel itself was located near the First Interchange Station, with a superb view, just like climbing a dream."

"The room is small and old. Facilities: No air conditioning, no toothbrush Hygiene: General Environment: Good location, but you can't see the Jungfrau Service: Too bad, look down on Chinese people, book 2 twin rooms, but don't allow children to stay, which is unreasonable. Bully the Chinese! The child was charged an additional 50 Swiss francs, but even after paying, they didn't give him a towel or pillow."

The room is clean and spacious. You can see the snow-capped mountains and the dreamy hillside when you open the balcony. It is also very close to the train station and is very convenient to reach on foot."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, only 200 meters away, but it's located on a hillside, so dragging suitcases uphill is quite strenuous. The owner is rather serious and will explain the rules and requirements clearly and meticulously, and will also help you carry your large suitcase upstairs. The room is spacious and has most of the necessary amenities, although the hairdryer is a bit old-fashioned, like an antique, but it doesn't affect its use. The front desk is often unattended, but someone is always available to call; calling is more convenient in case of any issues. The balcony faces a range of mountains, offering stunning sunset views of snow-capped peaks—a truly unbeatable sight. Dinner on the balcony is a wonderful experience. I don't know if the owners are German, but they are very straightforward. When we wanted to change seats at breakfast, the owner's wife was very puzzled, saying, "You're already sitting here, why do you want to change?" For the next two days, she still led us to the same seats. The breakfasts seemed pretty much the same: various breads with different cheeses and sausages, plus yogurt, fruit, eggs, etc. Eggs are available in fried and scrambled versions with bacon; you need to tell the owner's wife and they will make it specially. The hotel also has a spa and sauna, which are free to use. The sauna requires a reservation an hour in advance. In summary, the location is excellent, the environment is great, and the room is clean, but don't expect to be greeted with smiles and hospitality."

"Grindelwald for the first time, and after four days and three nights, this place is perfect. It's right by the bus and train stations, so you can hop off the train from Interlaken, walk through the terminal, and Eiger Lodge is right behind the parking lot. Buses take you all around Grindelwald, even to the main street. The terminal has a Coop, so groceries are super easy. The hotel has an awesome view of the valley and is super clean. They have breakfast every day, and even though it's the same stuff, I still liked it. Heads up, there's some construction going on that might block the view a little, but it's not a big deal. I'd totally stay here again if I come back."
