"We arrived very late after a luggage fiasco at the airport, but were greeted warmly and invited in. A dinner featuring farm-fresh food was kept warm and waiting for us. It was such a nice place, and I only wish the plan to arrive during the day had worked out. Next time! Breakfast the next day was amazing."

"Ghaub nature reserve is lovely. Only 3 camping pitches. So lovely,private, shady trees, cooling breeze. Spotless ablutions and facilities. Except for the spiders that come out at night in the bathroom! Nice hot water (boiler lit in eve and early morning for us) Big braii area, nice sheltered area. Lovely pool area, and shady seating by reception. Beautiful grounds."

"We had a wonderful stay at Gabus Lodge. The place is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable bedding, and offer a fantastic view of the waterhole, where you can admire many warthogs, oryx, impalas, and birds! We went on a night safari that allowed us to observe many giraffes, hyenas, baby bush animals, and many other species. The meals are delicious, and the wine list is extensive. We were particularly touched by Heinz's kindness, who took the time to explain the origin of the farm, his fascinating daily life, and his love for this region. My mother forgot a reading device in the room, and Harald kindly brought it back to us a few days later in Swakopmund. We are fully delighted with our stay and regret not being able to stay longer."
