The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal. It has an interesting history. The original chateau building was constructed in the early 20th century by the architect Guillaume Tronchet in the Louis XVI style. The chateau was originally built as a country residence for the aristocracy of the early 20th century, and the architecture still shows the features of the ”transition” - the classical austerity of the Louis XVI style is intertwined with the light eclecticism of the Belle Époque. The hotel is located in the Chantilly forest, which creates a sense of a secluded reserve surrounded by Nature . Despite the proximity of Paris (only about 40 km), the hotel remains a quiet refuge in the forest - a feeling of being in a country castle rather than just a hotel. The hotel has 109 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the bionic environment, the equestrian traditions of the region and the subtleties of Chantilly lace . Many rooms have a view of the forest, and many have balconies or terraces. Unfortunately, there is a highway nearby, and the noise sometimes reaches the hotel. This disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. The chateau has two restaurants: L'Opera, located in the former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, which occupies the former library. The latter is quite small, and when there are many guests, it can become noisy. The restaurants offer dishes made with local ingredients, such as game, cheese from Picardy, and, of course, the famous ”à la Chantilly” cream. The cuisine is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel is about 5 minutes from the city center. The staffs can speak English and they are very nice and helpful. The room is quite spacious and clean. There is air conditioning in the room although I did not need it even in July. Overall it was a very good stay.

The hotel is very well located in the centre of the city and near the hotel. The staff is very professional and is able to answer all your requests.

The hotel is clean and has a beautiful view of the Perret Tower and the Cathedral.

Staying at compiegen is indeed the largest hotel in the room, it is not in the city center, it takes about 15 minutes to drive. It is convenient to get in and out by the expressway, and the free parking lot is large. Breakfast bread is freshly baked, very delicious, anyway, European hotels are generally like this
