Suorsdei Sawadee
"Fantastic stay at Suorsdei Sawadee. The best place to stay in Kampot by a mile. Insane value for money. The staff are lovely, clean your room daily and the rooms are like a 4 star hotel with the most comfortable bed"
Montagne Residence
"A very beautiful place and also quite calm place for couples, family and friend. I would love to visit there again if i go to Kampot next time."
AHHA Boutique Kampot
"A good hotel at a reasonable price. We stayed for one night. Two large, comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and eager to help. A bit far from the center, a 25-minute walk, but a tuk-tuk ride costs $1. Shops are a 10-minute walk away."

Twin Hotel Kampot
"I have spent a couple of nights at this hotel – booking quite early, I managed to get it for roughly 30 USD per night. This is a great price and I overall had a good stay. While I booked a standard room which would have had just a window towards the floor (not sure why I did this), I received an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The room was more spacious than the one I had book and despite not using the balcony at all, it was good to get some light into the room. The room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. Housekeeping was good as well. Having said so, the cheap price came along with some caveats: Noisy AC, fridge not properly cooling, noise at some nights from people „chilling outside“ on the floor (those from a smaller rooms without a balcony, chatting and smoking until midnight), and again noise – from the building next door which hosts a „bird nest city“ underneath its roof (something you see a lot in Kampot; they grow bird nests for making soups), so hundreds of birds constantly singing day and night. If you are a light sleeper, definitely stay elsewhere. I always sleep with earbuds, still it was a bit annoying. Last but not least: While there is hot water in the shower during the day, there wasn‘t on any of the mornings (not a huge issue as „cold water“ was not really cold, still it bothered me). I booked this hotel also because of the swimming pool – which is unfortunately useless as it is in a small and shady corner on the ground floor without any sun beds, so you really don't want to hang out here (don‘t trust the pictures) – this was really a shame. Hotel staff is really friendly but hardly speaks any English and therefore is not of any help with question you might have. Frequented by many foreign guests, it would certainly help if the staff spoke slightly better English. The hotel‘s location is good, a bit off the centre (5-8min walk) – feasible, even at night, or just take a tuk tuk. Small supermarket next door. I give this place just four stars because of the price and the room – but not sure if I would stay here again."
KKP HOTEL

Castle Bayview Resort & Spa
"Shower with hot water and wait for 10 minutes. A dish of spaghetti costs USD 12.5 plus service charge and government tax. It’s too expensive."
Villa Vedici
"Location is amazing and very beautiful with river view, great for sunset and sunrise watching, but the hotel is not clean considering the price. We see the waste from kitchen and toilets are going down the river, our room is facing the river, we can see waste floating on the river at the corner and by the edge. The staffs should be more proactive to clean and get the floating waste and plastic out of the river by their guest house. Room is not clean, some dirt and stains on the bedsheets and towels they gave. Reception was not friendly and no one was there when we arrived, we had to wait and raised our voice to call for someone to come and check us in."
Komsan Kampot Resort
"The resort is beautiful, set along the Kampot River with scenic mountain views and fresh air. It offers a spacious environment with a variety of activities suitable for all ages, making it ideal for quality family time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—we had good food, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. We would love to return for our next holiday."
AHHA River Breeze Kampot
"I arrived at this hotel around 11:30 AM–12:00 PM. When I entered through the garden, I tried to find the lobby but couldn’t see any clear reception area. After walking inside, I noticed a wyoung guy relaxing in a hammock and told him I was there to check in. He said check-in time was at 2 PM. I asked if there was any available room I could get earlier, but he said I would need to pay an extra $5 for early check-in. For just a couple of hours, that didn’t feel reasonable to me, so I decided to come back later and left my bag there. I returned around 2:30–3:00 PM. The staff had changed, and the new person was polite and helpful. It seemed they were already informed that I would be coming. He gave me my room key without any issues and even mentioned he was only temporarily helping there. As for the room, I personally don’t prefer ground-floor/garden rooms in this region because of insects. Even though I didn’t have much food in my bag just some small snacks—ants quickly found their way inside after I opened it. I also noticed small ants on the floor, and there was a gap under the door where insects could easily enter. There was no TV in the room, and Wi-Fi was not available either. I had to use my mobile data during my stay. Hot water was available, which was a plus. However, I found the dark red bed sheets and brown towels a bit unusual and not very appealing. Later, I realized I was the only guest staying at the hotel. Considering that, I didn’t quite understand why they insisted on the strict check-in time earlier instead of letting me in a bit sooner. In the evening, when I returned and parked my motorbike in the garden, the staff advised me to move it inside for safety, which I appreciated. I originally booked for two nights, but due to the reasons mentioned above, I didn’t feel very comfortable and decided to cancel one night and move to another hotel. Interestingly, the new hotel was even cheaper and in a more central location. On the positive side, this place might suit those who are specifically looking for bungalow-style garden rooms. It is also located by the river, where you can find some floating restaurants, which is a nice feature. However, overall, it didn’t really meet my expectations, so I can’t say I had a very positive experience here."
The B Resort
"I stayed at The B Resort from May 6–7, 2026, and had a really good experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views, especially around the pool and garden areas. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well designed with a modern tropical style. I especially liked the unique bathroom setup and the relaxing outdoor surroundings. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever I needed assistance. The location is also convenient — quiet enough to relax, but still close to the main areas in Kampot. The resort looks exactly like the photos and videos, and the overall environment feels calm and refreshing, both during the day and at night. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Kampot who wants a relaxing stay with good service and a nice atmosphere."

Amber Kampot
"We loved staying at Amber. Because place, comfortable bed and big shower space, just perfect for families. We feel very welcomed and warm the whole time of our stay. The pool in our private villa could have been improved, the water is a bit unclean, also the garden next to the pool should improved, it was a bit messy in our room. We like our sunset boat trip, it added an extra special memories for our family especially our little girl."
The Moon Kampot Boutique
"Absolutely the worst place you could stay in kampot. Lots of stones from ex quest raise Big Red Flags. Manager is a smart mouthed young girl who's uncle owns most of kampot. Frequently no power or WiFi. TV reception is crap rooms leaking water, jackhammer at 6.30am Mosque singing all hours day and night, KTV bar 50mtrs away playing until 3am. Pool is filtered 3 nights a week. Clean rooms once a week. And pay $85.usd for 4weeks electricity not using aircon. This place is a NIGHTMARE. Do not stay thete no matter how desperate you are. "

Hotel Old Cinema
"My stay at the Old Cinema Hotel in Kampot was absolutely exceptional. This place has an incredible atmosphere—the combination of the history of the old cinema with modern comfort creates an atmosphere unlike any other hotel I've ever experienced. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and meticulously crafted. The staff deserve a special mention—smiling, helpful, and always ready to offer advice on what to see and do in the area. Breakfast is fresh and truly delicious, and the entire facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location is also excellent: quiet, yet just a few minutes' walk from the center of Kampot, restaurants, and nightlife. This is a hotel with a soul, where you immediately feel at home. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!"
