Stracta Hotel ★★★★
"Room facilities are OK, but service is almost non-existent"
Welcome Riverside Guesthouse ★★
"Check in by yourself, the main door is not locked (but it is very heavy, you need to pull it hard), the room has a password lock; parking is convenient, you can park on the roadside (free) or in the hotel's own parking lot; the kitchen is fully equipped, but unfortunately there are not many tables and chairs; there is a small lounge, but not much public space overall; it is quite clean; the biggest drawback may be that the room is not big."
Stracta Hotel Mosfell ★★★★
"Good hotel Cleanliness: Good, clean and hygienic"
Loa´s Nest Guesthouse ★★★
"Very well located for exploring the surroundings of Hella. The friendly owners and the shared kitchen, along with its shared fridge, will make you feel right at home. The directions they give you will help you get to know this lesser-known Iceland. One of the places we would definitely visit again. Although they say they don't serve breakfast, they always have coffee to share and some magnificent waffles."
Beindalsholt ★★★
"Small cottage near Hella. Basic and very clean. The owners live a few hundred meters away. Being on Ring 1, it's best to book in advance."
Hotel Ranga ★★★★
"Not worth it given the price and location."
Hotel Kanslarinn Hella ★★★
"This hotel is alright. It's easy to find because it's located by the roadside. The rooms aren't big, but they're quite comfortable and quiet, and the water is hot. The hotel also has its own restaurant, which opens at 5:30 PM, and the breakfast is decent."
Kanslarinn Hostel ★★
"The breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again."
Aurora Igloo ★★★
"I initially thought the room would have a private bathroom and dining area based on the description, but it turned out to be a shared bathroom and dining table. If this is a concern, be sure to check the room type carefully. The snow hut I used this time was a very novel experience. You can see horses at the neighboring ranch, and flocks of sheep pass by in the morning."
