"A great hotel in a very good location for expolring Nirfolk coast. Very freindly staff and niceky decorated public spaces. Slughly over doing the pheasent image in some places . Evening meal waa nice with a selection of fish. Liked the ideas of whelly boors being availible ans the near by beach walk. Good cooked breakfast options done to order"

"Visited this cosy pub on three occasions while on holiday in Cley. Had lunch there twice, on both occasions very enjoyable. Friendly, efficient service. Early in the week they offer a set mini lunch and drink for £10 which was good value. Lovely rear garden with marquee to relax in and admire the stunning view of the beautiful church. Would definitely return if in the area again."

"Lovely weekend away staying at The Ship inn, was a little further away from Wells than we’d have liked but it did not disappoint. The staff there are so friendly and made us feel very welcome from check in to check out, the food was amazing from breakfast to our evening meals. The room was done to a very high standard and was comfortable with some nice little touches. Will definitely be returning"

"We had a lovely time at The Pheasant. It’s well maintained, has lovely lounge, restaurant, outdoor and bar areas. The food is excellent and well presented. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and well decorated, with a large bathroom. It’s also ideally situated for trips right across North Norfolk. We would definitely recommend it and will be returning."

"The annex building is a newer accommodation building, a bit like a homestay in China, very cozy. The rooms are relatively small, but that does not affect stay. There is a restaurant in the old reception area, which does great business. The dinner and breakfast areas are very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is also good, with everything you need. This is a relatively niche town, and this accommodation is a good choice for dining!"

"This pub has recently been taken over by Dan. Dans does not currently have a cleaner, but Dan thinks it’s ok to charge over £150 per night for a room which hasn’t been cleaned in multiple visits. Dan thinks ants in the kettle and dirty cafetières are acceptable. Dan thinks wee stains and poo stains on toilets are ok. Dans girlfriend who doesn’t work at the pub came for a visit and ended up having to re-clean our room. The pub floor is more food waste than carpet. Dan employs one member of staff to take breakfast orders , cook it, serve it and clean up. Dan only has one tea pot in the pub so only one table could have tea. Dans staff don’t smile, and have no customer service skills (except the breakfast guy- he’s great). Dan promised me a 50% refund for my stay, (which he agreed was unacceptable ) over a week ago and I haven’t received it. Dan did email me complaining that he is working 6 days in a row and hasn’t seen his kids all weekend as an excuse. Nice one Dan."
