Hotel Leto Hydra ★★★★★
Douskos Port House ★★★★
"A wonderful place to stay in Hydra. Super central location with rooms overlooking the harbor, There is a great host. Thank you, Vasileo! You really make a difference and also your bracelets are beautiful."
Hydra Hotel ★★★★
"Amazing service and amazing hotel. Up the stairs but worth the climb!"
Achilleas Pension ★★★
"Really excellent choice. Staff were really helpful, the room was good and the location was perfect. Near enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. The only criticism was that the wifi was weak and it took forever to send emails, don’t think about downloading anything."
Hotel Miranda ★★★★
"Hotel Miranda was a fabulous spot to explore Hydra for 36 hours, we would have stayed longer if we could! Yanna and her team went over and above to make our experience amazing! They very kindly allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel while we awaited the evening ferry. Breakfast fabulous and the rooms very authentic to the grand mansion - the hotel has been in the same family for over 65 years!"
Douskos Guesthouse ★★★
"We very much enjoyed our stay here. There are several properties under the same management (you go to another one by the harbour for breakfast), and we felt this one suited us best. It's a convenient location, yet away from the majority of the noise, and the room was spacious and modern, yet in an older building. Breakfast, as mentioned, is in a different location, with an amazing view of the harbour, not to be missed. I don't really have any criticisms at all, when we had issues or questions, they were addressed, and sorted. This just felt like an all round good option, and we'd definitely stay here again."
Cotommatae Hydra 1810 ★★★★
"What a wonderful boutique hotel. Yanni greeted us with a homemade Greek sweet and smile. He gave us a map along with beach and restaurant recommendations which we took (and were pleased with his choices). We were in the pigeon room with a private hot tub. The website pictures didn’t do this room justice. Everything was stunning. The linens are monogrammed. The decorations are authentic, traditional, and beautiful. The walls and ceiling are simply old world mansion. Deep windows cut into the walls make you wonder about this home’s history. The bathroom is on the lower level which makes it a little private but requires a few steps down tiled floors. The bedroom is up a flight of wooden stairs. Bed and pillows were luxurious for this price point. This room is designed for younger couples. There is a courtyard in front of the room and it is an garden oasis from the sun. Tables and couches make it a nice place to sit. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Coffee was very good. We took long walks from this hotel and it is about 4 minutes to Leonard Cohen’s house if you are interested. The hotel arranged to pick us up from the port for 10 euros which was helpful as we were concerned about locating the hotel. The walk is easy and we ended up not needing transport assistance when leaving. Took so many pictures and would definitely come back here."
Mandraki Beach Resort - Adults Only ★★★★★
"I don't think the hotel quite lived up to my expectations. The breakfast was good, and the lunch was decent, but the dinner menu had very limited options and nothing that really stood out. The room itself also fell far short of what I expected. Considering the very high price, it simply did not justify the cost. There were ants and other small insects on the bathroom floor, and the pool area was also full of bugs. Overall, the room did not feel like the standard you would expect from such an expensive five-star hotel. The staff did not behave like employees at a luxury hotel. Instead, they came across as though this was their very first job and they had little idea how to handle guests professionally. That is not the level of service you expect when paying so much to stay at a five-star hotel. The owner was not friendly either. On our last day, the hotel had agreed to transport our luggage to us. They failed to do so, which meant we had no choice but to travel without our bags. When we called the owner, he laughed throughout the conversation instead of taking the situation seriously. It was completely unprofessional. In my opinion, this hotel is not worth visiting. There are countless other hotels that offer far better service, higher standards, and much better value for money at significantly lower prices."
