"Wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel and in a peaceful area. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Was shocked to hear that the hotel is closing for renovation in July, as the place is spotless. Hope they don't lose the character of the place after the renovation. Will definitely like to revisit when you reopen in November."

"We have been to the Craven Heifer on numerous occasions and our last visit did not disappoint. A really nice atmosphere in the dining area, well presented drinks, very well cooked food (compliments to the chef) and excellent, friendly service from a delightful young girl. (Sadly didn’t get her name), We feel lucky to have an establishment of such high standard so close."

"This hotel is tired. The function rooms were nice, but everywhere else is dated. It's pretty cold too, not sure if there was a problem with the heating, but there was a tiny oil filled radiator in one of the big rooms. Which was like trying to heat the ocean with a hot water bottle! The food was OK, not very warm and quite plain. Drinks prices were generally reasonable. Make sure you're not in any of the rooms above the entrance, as this doubles as the smoking area, it was really noisy until 1am and the reception and staircase smelt of smoke. Everything was clean and the staff were all nice."

"Stayed at the Wheatley Arms over many years, as usual faultless and a brilliant two night stay. All facilities are good, food superb and choice of Beer excellent. Our room was very good and bathroom clean and spacious. The restaurant has a good ambience and the menu is varied, food excellent. A good choice for breakfast with the Yorkshire breakfast superb. No adverse comments at all, a great place to stay with Ilkley only a mile away. Highly recommended. "

"Warm welcome, staff friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We visited on a Saturday and there was 12 of us celebrating a couple of birthdays in our party.
