Jr Clement Inn Imabari
"Lovely pleasant hotel very close to Imabari station & Shimanami Bike rental. Comfortable accommodation & good amenities plus complimentary drink & coffee machine. BUT the ROOM Sensors lights to toilet is a real nuisance. Wakes others when you go to the toilet. Wish we could turn that off when not required."
IMABARI KOKUSAI HOTEL
"Amazing value for such a high class hotel. Spacious rooms, beautiful spa with indoor and outdoor baths. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. About 10 mins walk from JR station. I always stay here when visiting Imabari."
Kisuke-No-Yado Imabari Eki Mae
"I visited this capsule hotel on a solo trip and it's close to the station and has a hot spring! Even though it was reasonably priced, there were multiple types of hot springs and saunas, so it was great to be able to soothe the fatigue of my travels! After the hot spring, I relaxed in the open space and read my favorite manga, or had a massage in a massage chair. It was a very fulfilling experience and I would like to stay here again when I visit Imabari again!"
Shimanami PRIME HOTEL IMABARI
"Comfortable stay. My second time here. Facilities and room well maintained to high standard."
Hotel Route Inn Imabari
"nice hotel, great amenities. There was a problem with my booking and it seemed that they said it was my fault. I don’t how it could be but they took the position it was me who had to fix it. Also there doesn’t seem to be a consistent hotel policy for travellers with bicycles. I stayed at there different Route Inn and tow it was no problem but this one it was. still a very nice stay."
Hotel Kikusui Imabari
"We did the Shimanami Kaido and spent one night here before turning around and returning to Onomichi the next day. They allow bikes to be kept in the room and it was more spacious than expected. We comfortably fit 3 bikes. The building is a little on the older side, but the customer service was great. Would gladly stay again."
Ryokan Chaume
"Great stay, shuttle service with public bath included. Only downside was slow WiFi 🥲"
Hotel Crown Hills Imabari
"The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is Japanese style."
Cozy Hotel Nukui Shimanami
"It was clean and well-maintained. Please note that it is locked at 12:00."

Super Hotel Imabari
"This is a very good hotel in Japan. Cleanliness is a must, the rooms are larger than other hotels, the location is great, and the front desk staff speaks fluent English (I suspect some of them are Filipinos). The staff are also very friendly."
Coliving & Cafe Sando
"Was amazing stop on my way"
HOTEL STAY Plus
"For someone like me who believes that as long as it's cheap, the environment only needs to be minimal, this was perfect."
Wakka
"The room wasn't large, but it was well-laid out, and the provided loungewear was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for one night after a two-day cycling trip."
Daichoso
"Aside from the inconvenient transportation, everything was perfect. Of course, it only takes 15 minutes by taxi from Imabari Station. I stayed for two days, and both breakfasts and dinners were different, delicious and plentiful. The scenery was simply breathtaking."
Hakata Plus
"The welcoming hosts, everything you need for accommodation. The only small minus is the road under the windows, but it is not very loaded. The hosts have a complete gay on the island, made personally, if you suddenly decide to stay on this island, a great option."
Sennenmatsu
"Wonderful location on Seto sea, beautiful rooms with sea views. Incredible hot baths. Great food. Very welcoming."
Yu-Rah
"This was the only place we stayed at in Japan that had a stove, it was a nice break from hotel rooms. It looks just like the pictures. Just a random tip for others: We planned to cycle the shimanami but couldn't at the end of the day. We took the ferry to Setoda and tried to take a bus from there to the accomodation but the busses don't travel between the islands. Uber and Go don't operate there. We ended up walking over the bridge between the islands and asked the people at the Cyclist Sanctuary to phone us a taxi."
Mikado
"Ok good"
Sawaki
"Stayed after the first day of the Shimanami Kaido. It was worth biking a little farther to stay here. The Sawaki staff are very nice and helpful. They drove us to the Onsen (spa) which was nice to rest our tired legs. Dinner was extravagant. Breakfast was very tasty and not a problem on the road. 10/10 would stay again!"
Shionomaru
"High cost-performance ratio, spacious rooms…"
