"Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach."

"Very new hotel in a very new city, next to it is still the turf. The room design is good, the lighting is full, that is, the equipment that the general hotel should have. The parking lot is full of parking spaces, and there are not many supermarkets, outlets and a restaurant within walking distance. There was an episode during the stay, and the fire alarm rang at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night, but the hotel only said a false alarm. Overall, it is a choice in the middle of the rules."

"Quick response from the staff when I needed light bulbs to be fixed. Was offered an alternative room but decided to stay in the same room even though the light by the bed and the entrance lights were not resolved. Other than that was very comfortable."

"From check in to check.out served by warm, friendly professional staff, a pleasure to stay in this old hotel. Special thanks to Miranda and Carol, the housekeeping ladies for providing us with a spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Plenty of hot water, big clean towels, good size tv and were very generous replenishing our tea and coffee supplies. Enjoyed a good IPA beer on the first evening and loved listening to the live singing, 70's throwback by the excellent female singer. Would stay here again should we need to book a hotel on our next visit to Rotherham."

"Great hotel - bit of a hidden gem. Used to be an Ibis but it’s now part of the Holiday Inn group. Has been fully refurbished. Beds are amazing, thick new mattresses, fluffy pillows and some of the coldest aircon I’ve ever experienced. We were visiting family in the area and I would definitely stay here again. It’s next to the motorway but I heard no noise. McDonald’s and Morrisons close by if you need any essentials."

"The hotel is neat and the staff are welcoming. However, there is a bed bug in their rooms. When I complained about it, I was moved to another room in which there are also bed bugs."

"Good location and good and attentive staff. Wasn't happy as room had 2 single beds instead of 1 double. Asked staff to change but hotel was full. Apart from that everything was perfect"
