"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Zuri Resort Coron. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, relaxing, and well thought out. We stayed in a Family Room with two queen beds and bunk beds built above them, and our kids loved it — it was spacious, fun, and perfect for families.
The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The resort’s four pools were another major highlight, each offering amazing views of the beach and sunset, making it easy to wind down and enjoy the scenery.
We were impressed by the cocktails, food, and buffet selection, which had a wide variety of options that catered to both Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Everything felt fresh and satisfying.
Another thing we appreciated was how the resort provided clear details on different activities and tours available around Coron. It made planning our days simple and stress-free.
Overall, Zuri Resort delivered comfort, beauty, and excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again."

"Travelled as a couple and it was great locale. Gar enough away to have privacy though to far to walk anywhete . Though bit a problem, there are always plenty of tricycles and it was only 40php to get to town.
Service was great with our waiters. The internet was spotty at best but we didnt need it much and it was good enough to get uodates and book what we needed.
Dont expect to be able to stream anything
The gym was well filled out with pretty much all you need.
Food was okay though heavy on the msg.
I would avoid the spa / massage. My wife got one and it wad a waste of money. They didnt know what they were doing and my wife left.

"Request granted. Initially, me and my mom planned for this trip, so I requested for a lower floor room, although last minute my mom backed out due to sched conflict, still, they gave me the most convenient room for a senior, and the room is noticeably clean and smells good. 👍"

"We had a pleasant stay BUT the check in was not a good experience. We were thankful that we got to check in at an earlier time (around 1-1:30pm) but we were disappointed that upon arrival no one helped us with our luggage. We have 1 large size luggage and 1 small one. After checking in, we were told that we are going to be assisted by one of their staff to our room. We expected that our luggage will be brought to our room but no one did that. The staff who assisted us did not really assist as helping with our luggage, she was just accompanying us to our room, she could not assist us because this staff might not be able to carry our big luggage so we did not ask her to carry it for us. Its just hard to carry the luggage because the room is far from the lobby and the pathway going to the room is not flat or smooth that is suitable for the luggage to be pushed. We had to carry our luggage all the way to our room.
Good points are, the room is huge, the pool is large enough. Breakfast is decent. Wifi is good.
Bad points, that time our cellular network has no signal, brown out some times but good thing they have generator.
Please be mindful of your guests. From the arrival, to departure please be aware of their needs. The hotel itself is very good but the service should be improved."

"The hotel location is lovely and we saw some beautiful sunsets. The boats transporting guests to and from the town were always punctual and they were willing to take us very early in the morning when we checked out, free of charge. The staff are very nice and helpful, but I get the feeling they're each doing about two people's jobs.
The restaurant isn't very good. Half the menu wasn't available and the food quality was average, with the exception of the squid (when they finally restocked it). Coffee is terrible. Also, they advertise happy hour, but when we wanted to order cocktails, we were told that there was no barman on duty and we could only have beers.
The facilities need an urgent upgrade. The rooms are fine, but from the outside, it resembles a dormitory or, to be morbid, a mental institution.
Also, they advertise snorkeling, but we were advised against going in the water and the pool has very chairs next to it.
Not sure if we'll book again."

"Amazing staff who help book tours and transport. Very good food (breakfast less so) but Filipino food (sisig and adobo) and sliders were great. The room was huge - I’m sorry I didn’t take photos of it! Water coolers throughout hotel and bottled water. However, this is not “newly refurbished” as advertised - wear and tear and old AC in the room. The pool is lovely and clean but we realised why there could be so many mosquitos - there is no pool pump so stagnant water (although regularly cleaned). So many mosquitos in our room day after day and the rooms smelt very fousty and damp. Yes it’s up a hill which I’ve seen on other reviews, but that’s coron! Deal with it haha. We paid 30PHP to get up the hill once, no dramas. Basic accommodation reflected on price but the mosquitos and damp smell were very disappointing to us."

"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick."

"Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is very scenic on the water, and has an amazing pool, but you do have to take a tuk tuk to the downtown area and back. It is conveniently located next to the pier if you will take the ferry to El Nido. It was only a 4 minute walk. The TV had Netflix, which was a happy surprise. The bed was a bit hard and the shower did not get all the way hot, but everything was comfortable enough. I recommend also reserving one of the Coron Island tours you can find on Trip."

"The owner is the only Mongolian in Cologne, so the design of the yurt is very authentic, which is a very special experience. The refrigerator in the room is quite noisy, and the neighbor's chickens will crow very early, so the earplugs provided in the room are very useful. There is unlimited supply of water, ice bath, etc. The price of the shuttle bus to the airport is also reasonable. At this price, it is good value for money"

KKaliannaThe resort was on an isolated island. Took 20-min car ride from the airport and 45-min boat ride from the port to the island. Our room was supposed to be ocean view, just right behind the sunrise villas. Unfortunately, the trees have grown high & hardly can we see the ocean. So best to go to the beach and enjoy the sceneries there. Not worth paying extra, unless it's sunset villa. Breakfast was acceptable, but in-room dining service need improvement. Especially, the cleaning up part. The swimming pool is under maintenance and I thought seafood & sashimi would be good, but nope, which is a bit extra disappointing. However, the general experience was good since the staffs are very nice and polite. We received different types of local snacks daily and turned out the kitchen made Filipinos food better than international ones. For morning hiking to Eagle Point, it's not really worth it, unless you have a drone to have 360-degree view. Intended to rate 3.8/5, but I got to see the sea turtle so 4/5 ~

The team at the port was incredibly warm and accommodating, and the fresh welcome drinks were a delightful treat you must try! The boat ride itself was seamless, and having priority access meant we bypassed travel taxes and lines entirely—highly recommend this service!
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with big smiles and warm hearts. The welcome surprise waiting in our room was such a thoughtful touch—it made us feel instantly special.
As for the amenities, it’s clear they’re working on upgrades, and we’re excited to see what’s to come. We had a blast playing table tennis, though the balls could use a refresh. One small wish—we’d love for the pool hours to extend a little later!
Now, a special shoutout to the dream team: Mund, Gie, Gino, Noel and Sandy—our private tour guides who went above and beyond in every way. They made us feel like royalty! Always attentive, always caring, and full of heart. I even had a minor accident and bruised my leg, and their first-aid response was immediate and professional.
Without a doubt, we highly recommend booking a private tour with them. It’s not just a tour—it’s a memorable experience led by the kindest, most amazing people. Can’t wait to return!

CCris RuffoloI went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

GGuest UserSecond booking with Vela Terraces and we made the same request to put us in a lower floor so we don’t have to climb all the stairs with our young toddler but unfortunately they were fully booked so we got a room on the 4th floor. It wasn’t that bad because the staff helped move ALL our luggage for us and we had 2 large hard suitcases plus a huge backpack carrier and multiple smaller bags which were all heavy. Very much appreciated the help! Since we knew about all the stairs from the reviews, there’s nothing to complain about. Despite no free upgrade because they were fully booked, the bed like the first time was very comfortable and the service was just as good as the first. The bathroom however wasn’t as nice as the Family room which was where we stayed during our first visit. It’s an open shower with a piece of glass that covers half the shower but water can still spray out. The bathroom light kept flickering and there were some ants. But all in all, it was still a good stay. AC worked well and they provided bottled water. If you want a better room, book the Family room on the 2nd floor! It makes a difference! The hotel is close to Dayon Kamo Food park which is a cute place with multiple food stalls. Great food, live music, love the atmosphere!

Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café.
The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go.
The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan.
You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use.
I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa.
There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance.
The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location.
The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map.

A great quiet place to rest in this town of Coron.
Bravo also for the cooking, the cooking is excellent !!
On the negative side, excursions to the islands are more expensive than in town ...

I had a wonderful stay at MO2 Lagoon Coron! The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities were top-notch, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind.
One highlight was when my phone accidentally got soaked — I asked the staff if they had rice to help dry it out, and they immediately gave me some without hesitation. That small act of kindness really made a difference and showed how attentive and helpful they are. Highly recommended if you're looking for a chill, worry-free getaway in Coron!

GGuest UserThe transportation company sponsored by the resort from airport to resort was BAD - book airport transportation to resort once you land and not with resort sponsored company. There is a Starbucks coffee on property, limited menu. Staff does not make the stay experience more enjoyable. The breakfast is average at best - Somewhat boring and limited selection. No bacon, poor sausage taste, no cheese or sliced meats as an option like so many other resorts/hotels. Coffee is super basic. Main dishes are limited. Resort pool is nothing unique and boring. Pool waitstaff not friendly. The food prices are over priced for how basic the food is. The pool chairs are nice. There are no resort activities, especially for little kids.
