Some of the facilities available include the beach, the chlorine free fresh water pool, two tennis courts, a half basketball court, a kids' play area, shuffleboard, ping-pong, another small play area by the beach and pool, you can practice your golf game on the open fields, and many walk or jog along the long entrance road and open space. There is also a community "Great Room" adjacent to the pool for reading, relaxing, games and BBQ's are available for evening dining on the patio overlooking the beach and ocean. The "Beach Shack" provides delicious food and beverages while you relax by the pool or on the beach and is a gathering spot for all. The swimming fronting the beach is protected by a reef and is good for snorkeling. St Croix itself offers many activities for young and old alike, as well as dining and entertainment. Salt River Bay (Columbus landed here)and Marina are next door where kayaking is popular, especially the evening trips to the bio- luminescent bay, one of only a few in this part of the world. Nearby also on the North Shore is Cane Bay, a beautiful spot with excellent snorkeling and scuba diving (dive shop located here)as well as some good oceanfront dining spots for all.
