I mainly spoke with Sofia , who frankly helped us to prepare our Ios “to do list” and could say it was quite successful. Last but not least, the rooms were very clean and fully equipped. "Just returned from 6 nights here and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! So calm and relaxed, the pool area is lovely, the rooms are super clean - cleaned every day too by lovely maids. Beds at are comfy and room view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious & we had room service once which was great, and ate in the restaurant once - both delicious! All staff were welcoming and went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend!"

"Must try if you have plan to go in Greece for holiday , i had with my wife fantastic 6 days , all the staff are amazing , kind , and ready for any kind of help you need , included if you fall down as i did ( stupid me ) and need to take care of my knees :). I will not attaching any pics because what they show is 100% the true , if you go to Calilo you no need to think about plan a trip outside of there , just go there for relax for try all the different kind of restaurant they have , my favorite was the fine dining one , with perfect view from restaurant , quality of foods , service and introduction of the plates and pairing of wines , in the main restaurant and bar you always have at least 4/5 waiters will never leave you alone and managers araund you for help you to choose what you need , honestly coz i never been to greece before even i am italian but live in china from too many years i can say for foods and beverage Calilo is even cheaper of Santorini and this surprise me a lot. If you really wanna have a nice honeymoon , private , with a super huge villa only for you and your wife , in Greece please pick up it , they even provide to us one night to discover another villa because was the only one free .....impressive . And what make this place with a PLUS for me are all the PEOPLE work there with passion , smiling and give you a feeling to know them already from long time."

Enjoyed the beach and easy access.to the rest of.beaches and up the hill to Chora that is only 5mins riding my scooter. super close to the ferry port and nearby 3-4 other bars, restaurant and cafes. Easy to rent car nearby and gas station. Has small private common pool. Would definitely come again and highly recommend"

"Spent a week here and if honest was disappointed in room it was not clean, it was dusty and grubby, and the bathroom plastic curtain needs binning the sink was dirty, I paid quite alot for this room and expected better. The cleaners sit on stairs watching stuff on their Phones and need to be careful what they say about females who walk past as I speak Greek and do not take kindly to being commented on. The bar man makes up the prices im sure and is not exactly the most friendly of people. Penelope front desk is lovely that's as far as I would go, one min staff say hi next min they walk past without looking. The young girl in breakfast room was rude to me one morning when I asked for a cup for ny coffee, she basically said wait, an never came back I went and got a coffee from the bar by pool but got charged. Would I return NO! "

"An absolute gem of a hotel, on a gem of a beach on a gem of a Greek Island run by a diamond family, Marcos, Jacky and Harry. The location is a 5 minute stroll from probably the best beach on the Island, Mylopotas. Very peaceful with great views. The rooms and bed are comfortable, typically Greek with all you need without the razzmatazz! Great pool with an abundance of comfortable sun beds and a bar open 1100-2300. Breakfast is continental help yourself, typically of Greek breakfasts. The rooms and hotel are very clean and peacefully quiet. Ios doesn’t have an airport so we flew in to Santorini and caught the ferry which took just over an hour. All transfers etc were superbly organised by Olympic holidays who were superb from start to finish. It should be noted that from the beginning of July to the end of August this is a party Island that makes Ibiza look like a sleepy backwater! However normal peaceful order resumes in September! There is an abundance of great restaurants from family run Greek Taverners, beach front trendy restaurants to high end dining establishments, all great value for money. We received great tips and local knowledge from Marcos, Jacky and Harry who couldn’t do enough for us. We will return!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did. I was organising a surprise for my mum’s 60th birthday and wanted everything to be perfect. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and always polite and professional. I had lots of requests and arrangements to make before we arrived, but the team handled everything flawlessly and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Every detail was taken care of exactly as planned, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the celebration with my family. The level of customer service was exceptional, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making our stay special. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, fantastic facilities, and a wonderful atmosphere, but what really made our experience memorable was the outstanding service from the team. Thank you all for helping make my mum’s 60th birthday so special. I would highly recommend Ios Palace Hotel & Spa and would love to return in the future."

"We have just returned from a super holiday on Ios where we stayed at the Relux Hotel. The hotel is only a very short walk from where the ferry arrives from Santorini. All the staff were very friendly - Stefanos who runs the outside bar beside the breakfast/dining area is great fun and knows everything about the island (he also makes excellent morning coffee). The buffet breakfast was very good with the lovely Christina on hand to keep everything spotlessly clean. The hotel pool has loungers and is very well looked after but we enjoyed taking the local bus at the harbour to Mylopotas where there is a great beach with good restaurants - it's an hourly service for 2 euros. We hired a car for one day from Jacob's Rental next door and were well looked after by Maria and Katarina - we covered most of the island that way. All in all, Relux is in a superb setting at the port with great staff and tavernas within a 5 minute walk - highly recommended!"

"Very aggressive owner Dimitris. We booked the suite with jacuzzi. It wasn’t working Well: It was cold and no bubbles. So we asked his wife Sofia for help. After 3 hours still nobody there. He finally came and admitted that the jacuzzi wasn’t working well. And on top of that he thew us out because we complained. Then he became physically aggresive and we called the cops. He then gave the deposit back."

"Probably this is the best hotel that we have stayed in this Europe trip. Staff members are very helpful, cheerful and considerate. They had a PowerPoint to go through with us at the check in. Very clear and welcoming introduction. 🤍they also offered a free upgrade for our room! So grateful! The room is so spacious and nicely decorated. They did housekeeping every day to change our beddings & provide toiletries! all the staff and clean ladies are so heartwarming and they genuinely want you to have the best stay in Ios island. "We stayed in a Panoramic Suite Private Pool and it exceeded every expectation. The room itself was spectacular, double aspect, with incredible views across Mylopotas bay. Room 811 felt extremely private, tucked away with no sense of being overlooked. Hanging over the edge of the infinity pool with a glass of wine, absorbing the view was the best way to spend the afternoons. We think this was probably the best hotel room and location to stay on the island. We loved the room. A stunning breakfast was brought to the room every day and was a wonderful way to start the morning. Mylopotas beach itself is beautiful, a long stretch of soft sand and clear water, and an easy stroll down from the suite whenever you fancy a change of scene. The location is excellent too, some lovely restaurants nearby, and being at the opposite end of the bay to the Far Out club means you're barely aware of the club goers."

"Myself and 3 friends stayed at Acteon for 3 nights in July. The rooms were clean, and we had a balcony with a good view of the port. However, we were slightly disappointed as we were told that we'd have a safe in the room (there wasn't) and the wifi was very temperamental, we had to sit on the floor right by the door to access it and they only give you 24 hour usage. Nevertheless, we were happy with the room and we were only a five minute walk from the port beach. The main town of Chora is only a short bus ride away (€1,60 per trip) and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. There is a large selection of restaurants to choose from very close by. Thank you for a memorable stay!"
