"Firstly, the owner gave me the wrong room. After that, I get a bed on the ground. Besides, there's a lot of dust on the ground. After I complained, the owner gave me a mop and a bucket to clean. The cleanliness is not good but the service is good and efficient. Furthermore, the owner gave me more time to check out when it was raining heavily and I won't be able to get back in time. Overall, the service is good and the owner was responsible, but I hope the cleanliness can improve in future."

"I like the place. It has natural hot spring and the big and beautiful butterflies fly around u. The pool is all natural, the water come from the mountain, which we call it air Bukit. So refreshing and lal natural without chlorine. My family actually spend more than 2 hours here playing. Usually cannot be long in pool coz we will uncomfortable due to the chlorine but not here. Staffs are friendly and super helpful. The only downside is not having mirror in the room except in the bathroom. P/s: u mobile xde line kat sini 😅 digi strong. Yeah lain xtau"

The room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the hot shower worked well. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kampar with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and local attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and the check-in/check-out process was quick and hassle-free."

"This homestay offered a convenient location near shops and felt very secure. The studio apartment surprised us - it was quite cozy for a family of four, including two teenagers. There were amenities like WiFi, a fridge, laundry, TV, and even access to a swimming pool. Plus, the view of the Kampar hills was breathtaking! However, a few things took away from the experience. There was no reception staff to greet us upon arrival, and the key collection/return process was a bit unusual. Additionally, the room had a lingering cigarette smell that lingered despite multiple air fresheners. Despite these drawbacks, it was a decent stay overall. The location, security, and amenities made up for some of the inconveniences."

"We booked a cabin with a king‑size bed and river view, and honestly, it felt like a little hidden gem. The cabin looked brand new, super clean, and everything worked perfectly. It has its own Jacuzzi pool — nothing beats soaking while staring out at the nature. Breakfast and dinner were included, and both were delicious. We added a third person to our booking, and they got their own bed plus half board, which made things easy. The staff were friendly and the service was way better than we expected — they really made us feel at home. The hotel sent clear directions so getting there was no hassle. There’s a river nearby that adds to the whole “nature escape” vibe. If you want more adventure, you can book activities through the hotel, though they’re run by third‑party providers. Overall, Hijau Camp and Cabin gave us a stay that was relaxing, fun, and good foods."

The very comfortable lodge gave us insights into what Malaysia was like in the 1920’s. The lovely owners went out of their way to give us all a memorable stay that is now a highlight of our 3 week Malaysian family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the lovely swimming pool set within a peaceful tropical garden on the large immaculately kept grounds."

Would hv been perfect if there were power points next to bedside, which could be rectified by extension cords. Would it be too much to ask for a washing machine? Would make it a perfect 10. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you."

"The room was clean, instructions for self check-in was detailed, clear & easy to check-in. View from room is great! But we were disappointed that only 2 beds had bedsheets eventhough requested for 3 beds. The other single bed did not have a bedsheet on it. The pillow case had a discomforting smell. Areas for improvement: Toilet roll was not really sufficient as almost ran out. Should at least provide 2 full rolls. There was no shampoo provided, only body wash."
